Today I want to say thank you.
To a practice that has been quietly shaping me for longer than I realized. That taught me to sit with discomfort instead of running from it. To breathe when everything in me wanted to hold.
I did not find yoga. Yoga found the parts of me I didn't know needed finding.
This practice came from teachers, and teachers before them, and lineages that stretch back further than any of us can trace. I hold that with gratitude and with humility.
Happy International Yoga Day.
To the roots. To the tradition.
To everyone still walking the path. 🌿

A New slow floor practice is up on YouTube.
This class focuses on the hips, legs, and lower body, but honestly, it is also for everything we tend to hold there without even noticing.
For those moments when the body feels a little tight, a little heavy, or like it has been carrying more than you realized.
Filmed at Lea’s Women’s Center in Tala, Cyprus, with so much gratitude.
Come practice with me when you need to reconnect with your body.

If your neck has been feeling tight, or your spine just stiff from the day, I made something for that.
It's 19 minutes, fully seated, slow and simple.
Nothing fancy, just a chance to soften a little.
Filmed at Lea's Women's Center in Tala, Cyprus, a place I'm always grateful to share.

PCOS has officially been renamed PMOS, and I have written a reflection on what this change means.
For decades, Polycystic O***y Syndrome has focused attention on the ovaries. But for many women, the condition touches so much more. Hormones, metabolism, energy, sleep, and the nervous system. The new name, Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, finally reflects that fuller picture.
In the blog, I share what this renaming means for women's health and for yoga practice, including which kinds of practice genuinely support a body with PMOS, and which might quietly add to the load.

PCOS Is Now PMOS. The Name Change Says More Than It Seems.

Feeling overwhelmed or tense? This one is for you. 💛
I just uploaded an 11-minute gentle yoga practice designed to help your nervous system come back to balance. It's completely floor-based, no standing, no complicated poses, just slow, supported movement and breathwork to help you decompress.
We move through belly breathing, constructive rest, supine twists, Bananasana, Supta Baddha Konasana, Happy Baby, and Savasana. The perfect wind-down for the end of a stressful day, or honestly, any time you need a reset.
The link is in the first comment; use it to watch the video.
If it helps you, share it with someone who needs it today.
Love and Light 🌿✨

I come back to this again and again.
On the difficult days, the overwhelmed days, the days when everything feels like too much.
The breath is always there.
It has never once let me down.

I was in my early forties when a fertility specialist changed the course of my life, not because of anything he did right, but because of everything he did wrong.
What followed was a slow, quiet revelation. My body is cyclical. It moves through distinct phases, each with its own hormonal landscape, strengths, and need for rest and expression. All this time, I had been overriding it.
Perhaps you weren't told either.
I wrote about what that discovery meant for me, as a woman, as a yoga teacher, and as someone who had spent decades in her own body without properly meeting it.
If you work with women, care for women, or are a woman, this one is for you.
What My Fibroids Taught Me About the Female Body
One doctor's dismissal sent me on a journey into hormones, fertility awareness, and cycle wisdom. What I discovered changed how I live in my own body.

What would it feel like to stop swimming against yourself?
To simply move in the direction your spirit is already pointing?
It's not a small question. But it might be the most important one.

Many women sense that their energy shifts throughout the month.
But very few of us were ever taught why that happens or what it means.
Instead, we grow up inside a model that expects constant output and steady energy, every day of the month.
The female body was never designed that way.
Learning to understand the body's rhythm can completely change the way we move through work, rest, and life itself.
