Anthony Lambrechts defeated Fawad Faghiri by unanimous decision. This fight was a three round war where Lambrechts dominated the standup, while Faghiri tried to take the fight to the ground.

Both fighters showed real fighters heart and were able to get good positions. This was a very entertaining and technical main event to close the awesome SFC XVII card.

Alexis Fontes defeated Candied Van De Ven by submission early in round one. This was a very impressing performance by Fontes, who didn’t gave Van De Ven a chance to brawl.

Tarik Jaaidi defeated Dejan Zeljko in under one minute by ref stoppage.

After a vicious flying knee from Jaaidi, Zeljko dropped and received a flurry of punches. The referee had to stop the fight.

What a tornado style finish! Congrats to Tarik Jaaidi with his victory.
