One week left to register!
Good evening soccer families,
It is hard to believe we are into the middle of September already and we had to use the word "winter" in this email.
That being said, we are very excited to announce that FYSC will be participating in Soccer Nov Scotia's Winter league for the first time. This will offer a different challenge to our players as we play out of New Brunswick in the summer months and will get to play different teams from across Nova Scotia.
Winter soccer will consist of 1-2 practice time per week with a game day every Saturday or Sunday (depending on the division that teams get seeded in).
Programming starts in October and runs until the end of February to the best of our knowledge. FYSC has not participated in winter soccer before and there maybe be some changes and adjustments along the way as we navigate this new exciting chapter for the club. Registration does not guarantee a spot on a team at this time as we need to make sure we have enough players and coaches to make teams.
Game play is 7 vs 7 and games will be played in either East Hants or BMO Soccer field in Halifax. Both facilities have artificial turf that teams will play on.
Approximate cost of the program is found in the registration as it is varies depending on your child's age division. We asked that NO payment is made at this time as we need to confirm that we will have enough players and coaches. An email with be sent in the coming weeks with more information to those that complete the registration.
To register please go to http://FundyYouthSC.rampregistrations.com Registration closes on Sept 30th as team need to be submitted to SNS by Oct 2nd so please register ASAP!
Thanks for helping us grow our club!
