⚽❄️ FYSC IS EXPLORING WINTER SOCCER! ❄️⚽

FYSC IS looking at the possibility of entering teams into the Nova Scotia Winter League for U11–U18 male and female players.

📅 October to March
⚽ 7v7 matches
📍 Games in East Hants & Halifax on the weekend (1 day Saturday or Sunday)
🏃 1–2 practices per week, based on gym availability with Amherst, Oxford, Springhill

But we need the numbers to make it happen!

📋 A Google Form will be SENT OUT SOON for players to express their interest.

If we have more than 10 interested players in an age group, and can find a coach, we should be able to enter a team in the league.

Completing the form will help FYSC determine which age groups have enough interest to move forward.

Congrats U15 Girls Tournament Team on another strong performance this season.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Codiac Soccer Goalkeeper Camp with Jeff Seney and Seney Goalkeeping School has been rescheduled to:

Camp Times:
⚽ Ages 8–10 | 10:00–11:30 AM
⚽ Ages 11–13 | 1:30–3:00 PM
⚽ Ages 14–16 | 3:00–4:30 PM
⚽ Ages 17+ | 4:30–6:00 PM

There are still spots available!

Goalkeepers of all experience levels are welcome. Come sharpen your skills and take your game to the next level!

Attention FYSC REC FAMILIES! If you still need to pick up your REC tickets, the FYSC office will be open on the following dates:

Please stop by during one of these times to pick up your tickets.

REC is a go! Please bring lots of water. We will have lots of waters breaks throughout the sessions.

⚽ 🍕 FYSC Competitive Teams Banquet – August 27 ⚽️ 🍕

We’re excited to celebrate an incredible season with all of our Competitive Teams at the annual FYSC Competitive Teams Banquet!

📅 Date: Thursday, August 27
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Location: Amherst Fire Station

Each player is invited to attend with one parent/guardian at no cost.

If you’d like to bring additional guests, they are welcome to attend. A $5 admission fee per additional guest will be collected at the door to help offset event costs.

The evening will be a chance to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of all of our players, coaches, officials and families throughout the season.

We look forward to celebrating with everyone! See you on August 27! ⚽🏆
