Aurora Barbarians Rugby Follow us on Instagram . "A club for all". No try-outs, no experience needed. We are a community-based club centered in Aurora, Ontario.

The Aurora Barbarians Rugby Football Club was established in 2002, after a very successful merger of two strong clubs, Aurora RFC and the Toronto Barbarians RFC. We practice at St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS and play our home games at Fletcher’s Fields. The Club supports:
2 Senior Men’s teams
2 Senior Women’s teams
Girls’ Junior teams at the U18, U16, U14 age groups
Boys’ Junior teams at the 2 xU18, 2 xU16 and U14 age groups
Co-ed teams at the U12 (modified contact), U10/U8 (flag) age groups

2027 Junior and Senior Winter Training Session are confirmed

Sundays Skills and Games are back with the same schedule as before. They'll run on Jan 3 to March 21, 2027 with 2009 and older at 8am to 10am, Girls at 1 to 2:25pm and Boys at 2:30 to 3:55pm. Cost will be $150 plus HST per player. Registration will be through www.abrfc.ca/events

NEW THIS YEAR- the club has partnered with the Town of Aurora to offer 16 sessions on Tuesday (Skills and Speed) and Thursday (Skills and Games) for 2009 to 2012 with Coach Sammy Malcolm. These sessions will run right after school at 3:30 to 5pm. Cost will be $60 plus HST for one day or $120 plus HST for both days. Registration will be www.aurora.ca/eplay

All session will be at the Aurora Dome! Registration will be available on Mon. Nov 2, 2026.

Congratulations to our Senior Women on their second place finish in the Rugby Ontario 2026 OWL Premiership. Down 3-17 at half, they fought till the last whistle but came up short 18-25 to Guelph RFC / Jr. Gryphons. Big thanks to Brantford Harlequins RFC for hosting the finals.

The club wishes the best of luck to almost 85% of the team who heads back to school including two players who are heading into their final year of high school!
