Tomorrow, we come together. 🧡

Halifax Skating Club and Bedford Skating Club will be at the Scotiabank Centre for our first Performance Day of the season.
September 30 is also the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. As we gather as a skating community, we will take time to recognize the significance of the day and honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

We’re looking forward to seeing our skaters take the ice, support one another and share what they’ve been working on.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

Our pre-academy skaters get a taste of everything figure skating has to offer, from ice dance and free skate to skills, artistic, and synchro. They recently teamed up to try a four-spoke pinwheel, which can be an element in synchronized skating! And speaking of synchro, with the brand-new Synchro9 discipline heading to the 2030 Winter Olympics, the timing couldn’t be better to fall in love with team skating at your local rink!🧊⛸️

Drop a comment and let us know: do you think any of these skaters managed to not get dizzy after that pinwheel? 🌀😂

We’re officially in the first week back on the ice! Here’s some footage from our senior skaters this week! There’s nothing quite like the sound of hearing their blades on the ice.

All our skaters are already out of the gates with so much focus and dedication, and we are so excited to watch how they grow, challenge themselves, and develop throughout this 2026–2027 season. Welcome back, everyone! 💙
