Hip thrusts are a great glute exercise. Why not step it up and add a loop band to work your adductors and knee tracking as well. By dropping your knees in when lowering and moving them apart when you lift, you are also working to improve your hip rotation.
Make sure to pull your feet towards your butt (without moving) to turn this into a hamstring exercise, too! By changing your foot position (in the video feet turned out), straight ahead and toes in/ankles out, you will change the tension on each of the hamstrings.
Aim for five to 10 reps for each of regular thrusts, rotating thrusts and knees in and out in each foot position.
