In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we invite all of our dancers to wear an orange shirt to class from Wednesday, September 23 through Tuesday, September 29.

The orange shirt became a symbol of how indigenous children’s identities, culture, and self-worth were taken away by the residential school system.   It serves as an important reminder that Every Child Matters.

This is a small way for our Kôr community to take time to learn, reflect and show respect together.

Please note that no classes will be held on Wednesday, September 30.  Thank you for helping us recognize this important day with our dancers. 🧡

Our Tippy Toes Tap class is a fun and energetic introduction to tap dance, specially designed for dancers ages 5–8! This playful 6-week session is the perfect opportunity for young dancers to discover tap while building rhythm, coordination, musicality, and confidence in a fun and encouraging environment.

Acro is a fantastic way for dancers to develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, control, and confidence while learning exciting acrobatic skills in a safe and progressive environment.

Our classes are taught by an experienced, certified Acrobatic Arts teacher, with skills taught progressively according to each dancer’s age, experience, and ability.

CONTEMPORARY & LYRICAL CLASSES

Our 2026/27 season is just around the corner, and there are still spaces available in our Contemporary and Lyrical classes! Registration is still open, and we'd love to have you join us! 💙

CONTEMPORARY
Explore your expressive side while interpreting music, rhythm, emotion and space. Rooted in Ballet, Modern and Jazz techniques, Contemporary dance incorporates elements from many dance styles. This versatile style challenges dancers to explore different movement qualities while developing strength, control, fluidity and musicality.

LYRICAL
Lyrical dance beautifully blends the technical foundations of Ballet with the freedom and expression of Jazz. This style focuses on connecting movement to music and emotion, allowing dancers to communicate and tell a story through expressive, flowing movement.

Both styles encourage dancers to explore their creativity and artistry while continuing to build strong technique, confidence and a deeper connection to movement.

Ready to make some noise?

👞 Our Tap classes are full of energy, creativity and, most importantly, FUN!

Tap dance focuses on rhythm and musicality. Through intricate footwork, students learn to use their feet as percussive instruments while developing their sense of rhythm, timing, coordination and musical expression.

Whether you're new to tap or already love making music with your feet, there's nothing quite like the sound of a great tap class!

Classes available for ages 8+ with three age groups to choose from. Check out our new 2026/27 schedule and join us for an exciting new season of TAP! Don't forget to check out our Kinder Kor programs for tap dancers 5 and younger.
