🌞 Next Generation Day Camp Update! 🌞

It’s 2:30 PM, and we’ve had an incredible day at camp! 🎉

We welcomed a full group of campers today, and the Sportsplex has been filled with laughter, energy, and excitement all day long. From games and activities to arts, crafts, and cultural learning, it’s been wonderful to see everyone having so much fun together.

⏰ A reminder to parents and guardians: Pick-up is in an hour
at 3:30 PM today at the Deerfoot Sportsplex.

🌞 Next Generation Day Camp Update! 🌞

Another amazing day at Next Generation Day Camp is coming to a close! 🎉

Our campers have had a fun-filled day of games, arts & crafts, storytelling, cultural learning, and making new friends. It’s been wonderful to see everyone learning, laughing, and creating lasting memories together.

⏰ Pick-up is at 3:30 PM at the Siksika Deerfoot Sportsplex on the arena side.

Thank you to all of our campers and families for another fantastic day. We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow! 💚🌈

Today marks the start of our first three-day week of Next Generation Day Camp, and we’re excited to welcome all of our campers back!

Over the next three days, campers will enjoy:
🎨 Arts & crafts
🪶 Storytelling & cultural learning
🤸 Fun games and activities
🚌 Field trip Friday’s
🥪 Lunch provided each day

We can’t wait to spend another week making memories, building friendships, and creating a fun, welcoming space for our young leaders.

🌞 Next Generation Day Camp
Day 2 Update! 🌞

We are officially on Day 2 of our Next Generation Day Camp, and it has been an incredible start to the week! 🎉

Our campers have been staying active through games, creating amazing crafts, learning together during our morning circle, and building new friendships every day.

One of today’s highlights was the opportunity for our campers to connect with the Korean Day Camp workers at the Sportsplex, as they prepare.
It was wonderful to see the children communicating, and learning from their new friends, showing that friendship can bring people together across cultures. 💙

We were also proud to have Siksika Tiny Tot Princess Kaiza Weasel Child join us wholeheartedly throughout the day.
Kaiza encouraged her fellow campers to attend powwows this summer, shared the importance of celebrating our culture, and even inspired some of the children to consider running for the 2027 Siksika Tiny Tot Princess title, next year.
Her kindness, confidence, and enthusiasm truly make her a wonderful role model for our youth. 👑🧡

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store as we continue making memories, learning new skills, and strengthening friendships together.

If you have a child who would like to attend tomorrow, you can register on the gym side before camp begins. Walk-ins are welcome while spots are available!

🌞 Next Generation Day Camp Update! 🌞

We’re officially a little over the halfway point of today’s camp, and what a fantastic day it’s been!

Our campers have been busy painting rocks, playing fun kick ball games, and sharing lots of laughs together. We also got to wind down and enjoy watching the new Super Mario Galaxy movie together! 🎨🏃🎮

The day will be wrapping up in about 2 hours, and we can’t wait to finish off the afternoon with some Relay Races and our closing circle before pickup.

Thank you to all of our parents and guardians for trusting us with your amazing kids. They’re making wonderful memories, building friendships, and having so much fun! ☀️💛

The Siksika Fair Fast-Pitch Tournament kicks off tonight at 6:00 PM at the Deerfoot Ball Diamonds and runs all weekend long. Fastball is back and thriving in Siksika—come out and cheer on the teams!

A huge thank you to all the residents of Suzy Slough community for helping keep your area clean and beautiful!

We were happy to see that there wasn’t much work for us to do at the playground, which speaks volumes about the pride community members take in caring for their neighborhood. Even the community dogs were there to welcome us and keep an eye on things while we worked! 🐕😊

We understand there are a lot of programs running today throughout Siksika
Thank you to everyone who waved and said hello, today’s clean-up was such a positive experience.
