💚 Throwback Thursday - Team PEI for the 2023 CWG. 🍁

As the selection process for Team PEI's 2027 Canada Winter Games Ringette Team enters its final stages, we're looking back at the incredible group that proudly represented PEI at the 2023 Canada Winter Games.

Playing in front of a home crowd, Team PEI delivered one of the greatest performances in our province's ringette history.

The team battled through the round robin, earned a crucial win over Manitoba to advance to the medal round, and found themselves competing for a national medal.

In a thrilling bronze medal game, PEI pushed Saskatchewan to overtime before falling just short, finishing an incredible 4th in Canada, the best Canada Games result in PEI Ringette history.

The memories, friendships, and province wide pride created by this team continue to inspire the next generation of ringette players.

As we get closer to naming our 2027 team, we continue to celebrate our 2023 athletes, who did so much for our sport.

Let's GO PEI!

The passion, skill, and determination shown throughout this process have been incredible. To all athletes who participated, thank you for your hard work, commitment, and the pride you brought to the program.

Congratulations to those advancing, we can't wait to see what the next stage brings as the journey to 2027 continues! 💚❤️
