This one has been on my heart for a while. I’ve taught so many of you over the years, helping you find your strength before your babies even arrived. Now I want to bring us all back together.

My goal with this class is always the same: help you feel strong and steady in your body, calm in your mind, and connected to the people around you as you move toward motherhood. 🌱🌱🌱

My intention is to help you apply yoga philosophy to the motherhood journey, and show you movement that will make labour and delivery easier. 🌱

Learning how to create space between action and reaction is essential in these increasingly reactive times. 🧘🏼‍♂️

“Be satisfied with where you land. Don’t fuss, fidget or readjust. Sit with it.” Words from one of my teachers that I’ve repeated to my students many times. 💫

Being still in a yin pose for a few minutes creates the kind of patterning we need to train our minds to be present and hold steady.🌱

I’m trying to move with less urgency to fuss and fidget this spring. As we emerge from the hibernation of winter, I want to do so mindfully, carefully, with plenty of consideration. This is what a yin yoga practice can help cultivate. 🌺

I don’t know about you, but the consequence of being extremely dialled in is waking up every morning and spinning out, making lists, preparing myself on every angle for lord knows what kind of situation that’s coming. 🫠

When I start to feel like I’m reaching outward for something to hold on to, I know it’s time to turn in and walk the path to my center. 🙏🏼

None of us are guaranteed to have an easy time in life. And worry is an illusion of control. The most essential tool I can have in my list of preparedness is knowing how to hold steady. ✨

I need a refresh, and a deepening of my yoga practice and I don’t want to do it alone. 🌱
