π§οΈβοΈ SUN, RAIN & A WHOLE LOT OF RIDING! π
We had a little bit of everything at Shore Cycle & Marine β NSORRA Hare Scramble 4 at South Alton last weekend! With 100+ riders racing throughout the day, the trails definitely took a beating.
Now itβs time to give them some love! β€οΈπ²
Tonight is a Work & Ride at South Alton Ride Park! π οΈποΈ
NSORRAβs Barret Ayres is leading the charge and would like to be on the trails by 6 PM. The plan is to:
π’ Clean up race tape
π’ Fill in ruts
π’ Tackle some general trail maintenance
π’ Get in a little riding while weβre at it!
If you can spare some time, bring your shovel and come lend a hand! Every bit of work we put into the trails now helps us extend the riding season at South Alton for as long as possible.
Come out, get some trail work done, enjoy a ride and join the camaraderie! π€
See you on the trails tonight!

No BBQ this week at the Miller Moto Rec Ride. G1 and G2 can't make it but the gate and trails will be open. Please note that the meadow is still wet and under construction. Please do not ride that section.
See you there! 46 Miller Rd, Meaghers Grant (off the old Guysborough Rd), Halifax County

π§οΈβοΈ SOUTH ALTON β WHAT A RIDE! ππ₯
Shore Cycle Hare Scramble 4 at South Alton on Saturday was a wild one! Hot sunshine, challenging trails, and then an afternoon dose of rain made for one memorable day of racing; just ask the Pattersons!. ποΈπ¨
Now itβs time to give the South Alton Ride Park trails a little rest. π²π The park will be closed for a bit to allow the trails to recover. Weβll let you know as soon as the trails are ready to open back up!
But donβt worry β there are still plenty of places to ride! π€
NSORRA has 5 additional Ride Parks PLUS a Ride Area open for riding. So why not use this as your excuse to load up the truck, explore somewhere new, and see what another NSORRA riding area has to offer? Check out the Where to Ride tab on the website www.nsorra.ca
π South Alton is resting.
ποΈ The rest of Nova Scotia is calling.
Time to try somewhere different! π€π₯
