🌴💦 Tropical Splash Bash is kicking off our Summer Camps! 💦🌴

Get ready for a summer packed with gymnastics, adventure, challenges, games, crafts, and unforgettable experiences! ☀️ Did you know that this summer, every week of camp features daily special events and crafts, plus a featured Friday event that takes campers beyond the gym for even more fun?!

Throughout the summer, campers can look forward to featured Friday events like:
💦 Water Park trips
🧗 Climbing Gym adventures
🎳 Bowling Alley visits
🏊 Pool outings
🎨 Face Painting in the gym
…and much more!

This week’s spotlight is Week 1: Tropical Splash Bash, finishing with an exciting trip to Centennial Water Park on Friday!

All of DDGC’s summer programs are open for registration ☀️🏖️ From classes to summer camps and birthday parties, we have what you’re looking for!

Classes:
• Trampoline and DynaGym options
• Structured learning focused on advancing skills
• Register for July & August separately - perfect for vacationers!
• July class registration cutoff: June 30th @ 11:59pm
• August class registration cutoff: July 28th @ 11:59pm

Camps:
• Full-Day and Active Start (ages 3-5) options
• Gymnastics-centred fun!
• Participants will spend the day learning gymnastics basics while also participating in games, crafts, outdoor play, themed activities, occasional free-time, and a Fun Friday event that corresponds to each week’s theme!
• Full-day campers can register for whole weeks at a discount, or each day individually!
• Registration closes for each week @ 11:59pm on the Monday prior - for example: registration for participation during week 3 (July 13-17th) closes Monday, July 6th

Birthday Parties:
• Saturdays and Sundays all summer long!
• 3 two-hour time slots available each day
• 1 hour of structured gymnastics and games, 30 mins in the party room for cake and presents, and 30 mins of free time to explore our gym!
• Registration cutoff: 2 weeks before party date @ 11:59pm

As some of you may know, as part of our athlete gift for Orca Invitational 2026, DDGC donated $5 on behalf of each registered athlete to Stuart Pagaduan to pass forward to a deserving member of the Cowichan Tribes. That $1,550 was given to Nathaniel, a talented local athlete, who has been selected to compete at Worlds in Germany. But, he’s still in need of your help!

Our online 50/50 raffle is now open to all BC residents, with proceeds going toward a brand new rod floor for our gym!

A rod floor is a specialized training surface designed with fiberglass rods beneath the carpeted top to provide extra bounce and shock absorption. It helps athletes safely develop powerful tumbling skills, improve technique, and reduce impact on their bodies during training.

Ready to take the next step in your gymnastics journey?

Our Invitational Team consists of many advanced groups/programs for gymnasts who show exceptional skill, dedication, and potential. Athletes must try-out and be invited into these programs which provide a variety of opportunities, including higher level training, experienced coaching, accelerated learning, participation in competitions, development of life skills, and establishment of meaningful connections.

Please keep in mind that our invitational programs are advanced programs, so we require at least one year of gymnastics experience (at any gym) before trying out. Thank you for understanding and respecting this policy!
