Have you heard any of these myths before?!

Growing up as a highland dancer, I've heard it all:

- "Isn't that just for girls?"
- "Don't you have to be Scottish to do that?"
- "Oh, like River Dance?"
- "Dance isn't a real sport."

Let's face it, in a world where being a dancer typically means ballet, jazz, and hip hop, highland dance often flies under the radar.

But you know what? That uniqueness makes Highland Dance all the more special.

Sure, maybe not everyone will understand it immediately, but it makes the moments when someone does all the more rewarding, and our community THAT much stronger.

Highland Dance might not be as widely known as some other dance styles, but that's what makes it so great.

For me, that meant a dance form that embodied strength, precision, and a connection to a small yet worldwide community.

Curious to learn more? Come try it out for FREE! We promise you'll leave:

💦 Sweatier and happier than when you walked in
🌟 With a new appreciation for this unique dance form

Halloween theme week is upon us, which can only mean ONE thing… blessing your timelines with the compilation you didn’t know you needed 🦈🩵

(can’t wait for the video to be 1 full min long years later 🤣☠️)

hands up if the studio is like your second home 🙋‍♀️

dance studios so quickly become more than a place your kiddo goes to dance.

they make lifelong friends, have good days, hard days, celebrate big wins, and make SO many memories along the way.

one of the best parts of being a dance teacher is creating a little home away from home for the dancers 🩵

Our competitive crew had the best time in Saint John this past weekend at the Halloween competition!!🎃👻

An overall win, some AMAZING improvements, fabulous solos, and time spent with our friends from all over the Maritimes 🥰

Thank you to the organizers & volunteers for a great event!!

Energetic kids?

Did you know that in there are 128 jumps in a 4-step Highland Fling (one of the first dances we teach)? 🤯

… and doing that dance full out only takes about 1 minute of class time!

This means in a typical class, we are doing a LOT of jumping.

Not only is highland dance a great activity for your child’s overall physical health, but it makes it the PERFECT activity for your high-energy child 🙌🏻

They’ll be jumping, skipping, dancing, laughing and having fun all class long 🤩

If your little one has some extra energy to burn, and you need an outlet for their energy to keep your house from feeling a bit like a zoo 🤣

… we’ve got you!
