The Advanced Camp girls are officially having a camp out tonight… and we may have turned the indoor arena into a full-on campground! ⛺🐴
What a beautiful day we had. We spent time working on barrels, hitting the trails, and learning new ways to properly warm up our horses before riding. We also introduced the horses to obstacles they had never seen before, helping both horse and rider build confidence together.
I have to say, this group of riders has been absolutely amazing. They’ve been eager to learn, willing to try new things, and have supported each other every step of the way.
Now we’re ending the day with sleeping bags, laughter, and an indoor arena camp out, and we will end tonight with glow sticks and a camp fire that I’m pretty sure none of us will forget anytime soon. These are the kinds of memories that make camp so special.
I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! ❤️🤠🐎

Advanced Camp Day 1 is officially in the books! 🐴❤️
The horses arrived and got all settled into their spots, everyone met and was assigned their horse for the week, and we are already off to an amazing start!
I have a feeling this group is going to be a lot of fun. There was excitement, laughter, and plenty of new connections made today, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store.
Here’s to a week full of learning, riding, teamwork, and making unforgettable memories ! 🤠🐎

We’ve been busy this morning getting the trails cleared up and ready, and I couldn’t be more excited! 🌲🐴☀️
Having safe, well-maintained trails is something that is incredibly important to me. So many of the riders who come out to Julie’s Equine are heading out on their very first trail ride, learning to navigate hills, weave through trees, and build confidence outside of the arena. Making sure those trails are safe and enjoyable for everyone is always a top priority.
One of my favourite things about our property is being able to offer a variety of different trail styles and terrain for riders to learn on. Whether you’re just getting comfortable on the trail or looking for a more advanced ride, there’s something special about being out in the sunshine with a good horse. Honestly… who doesn’t love a trail ride? 🌞❤️
These trails are getting ready for our Advanced Camp and, of course, our highly anticipated Ladies Camp in September! 👢🍷🐴
Stay posted—September Ladies Camp dates will be announced very soon, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
Thank you to everyone who has helped clear trails and keep this place safe and beautiful. It makes such a difference for every rider who comes through our gates. ❤️

🫐☀️ A sweet little summer adventure before lunch today!
Our campers took a little walk down the trail to pick some fresh Saskatoon berries before lunch, and it was such a fun way to spend part of the morning. The kids loved filling their buckets / bags (and sneaking a few berries along the way! 😉).
📣💥The Saskatoon berries are so big this year, and there are lots still ready to pick! If anyone would like to come out this weekend and pick some, you’re more than welcome to. Bring a bucket and enjoy a little time outdoors.
Nothing says summer quite like fresh Saskatoon berries and happy kids making memories. 🐴💜🌿

🐴 Lesson Update 🐴
Due to the poor air quality and smoke in our area, all lessons are cancelled for today.
The health and safety of our riders, horses, and families is always our top priority. We appreciate your understanding as we wait for conditions to improve.
Stay safe ❤️🐴
