Pace Community Support, Sexual Assault and Trauma Centre - Grande Prairie Pace Centre is Grande Prairie and Area's sexual assault, community support, and trauma centre.

Formerly P.A.C.E.(Providing Assistance, Counselling, and Education on Sexual Assault, and Sexual Abuse) Pace has been providing counseling and support services for victims of sexual assault, sexual abuse, and trauma in the Northwest Region for over 35 years. Pace also provides leading edge Education and Training in best practice to front line workers, service providers, students, and community organizations.

Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

This year's theme,"Trapped Behind the Scam," highlights the growing number of people who are trafficked through fake job offers and forced into online scam operations under threats, coercion, and violence. [un.org], [unodc.org]

At Pace, we recognize that human trafficking is a form of violence and exploitation that can have profound impacts on survivors. By raising awareness, supporting survivors, and learning the warning signs, we can help build safer communities.
