🐴 90 Years of horses in Halifax // 90 Years of the Horses of Halifax 🐴
"The more I have come to experience Lancers, the more I understand that it is so much more than a riding school. It is an extraordinary Halifax institution that provides therapeutic and wellness programs, provides opportunities for leadership and community, hosts public events, and maintains the Musical Ride. Most importantly, it is home to the Horses of Halifax — horses that have been part of the life of our city for generations.
There is something pretty special about having horses living and working in the middle of Halifax. They are part of our city's history and character, but they are also a living part of the city today. People walking through the Commons, visiting the Public Gardens or Citadel, or simply passing by the Lancers stables get to experience something that is rare in an urban setting." - Lancer supporter
