At KDF, we're passionate about providing a dynamic and inclusive environment where dancers of all ages and skill levels can thrive. Kingston Danceforce Studios provides a happy, safe and healthy environment for children and adults of all ages. Here, students explore their love of dance while honing their skills and gaining self-confidence, participating in recreational, exam and dance-based fitness classes. Additionally, students are invited to tryout for our competitive dance team, where they will be given the opportunity to showcase their talents and further develop their performance abilities, while benefiting from the constructive critiques of seasoned judges and dance professionals. At Danceforce, we cater to students of varying levels of experience and skill, providing comprehensive instruction in a diverse range of styles. We invite you to share our studio and make it your own, learning, growing, and most importantly, dancing with us!

It is costume week at Danceforce! Dancers are welcome to wear halloween or old dance costumes to classes. Please make sure that the costumes are safe to dance in. We can't wait to see what everyone decides to wear!

Meet the KDF Team! This is Miss Kyli! 🎶💙

Kyli started singing at just seven years old after her teacher noticed she simply couldn’t stop singing and humming at her desk! That early love of music has grown into an incredible career. She went on to complete Level 8 in both voice and piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music and earned her Bachelor of Music in Voice from Queen’s University. She has also spent the past 15 years teaching private voice lessons.

Kyli is a familiar face in Kingston’s musical theatre community, taking on roles both on and off the stage as a performer, vocal director, producer, and audition coach. Some of her favourite performances have included Anne of Green Gables, Mamma Mia, 9-5: The Musical, Cabaret, and Les Misérables.

Now, Kyli is bringing all of that experience to KDF through our Vocal Techniques class, helping dancers develop their voices and become more confident, expressive, and well-rounded performers.

We’re so excited to have Miss Kyli sharing her love of music and performance with our dancers! 🎶💙

Meet the KDF Team! Next is Miss Shadia💙

Some of the most important lessons in dance go far beyond the studio. 💫

Miss Shadia reminds her students that there will always be people who believe in you — and people who don’t. What matters most is finding the confidence within yourself to keep going, prove yourself wrong, prove others wrong, and continue growing. 🤍
Her own dance journey is a perfect example of the power of stepping outside your comfort zone. During high school, Miss Shadia trained in China, where she not only grew tremendously as a dancer, but discovered just how powerful dance can be as a form of communication. 🇨

One day, she would love to bring her students along for that same experience — from Chinese dance competitions to masterclasses and everything in between. Because when you can’t communicate through words, you learn to communicate through movement.

We’re so lucky to have Miss Shadia sharing her experience, passion, and perspective with our dancers! 💙

Meet the KDF Team! Next is Miss Narineh! 💙

Miss Narineh began dancing at just three years old, starting with Armenian dance, which she trained in for eight years. Through that experience, she developed a strong foundation in movement, flexibility, and technique before discovering her love for acro.

Her love for teaching began when she was a teenager, first as a camp assistant before working her way into teaching her own classes. Since then, she has discovered just how much she enjoys helping young dancers learn new skills and build confidence along the way.

Now in her second year teaching at KDF, Miss Narineh is excited to continue watching her students grow — not only as dancers, but as people. Outside the studio, she is also a Nursing student at Queen’s University and has even explored new styles herself through the Queen’s Dance Club, including lyrical, ballet, and her very first experience with tap!

We’re so happy to have Miss Narineh back for another season and can’t wait to see all the growth, progress, and fun this year brings! 💙✨

Meet the KDF Team. Say hello to Miss Sienna! 💙

A passionate dancer, choreographer, and aspiring teacher, Sienna brings her love of learning and creativity into everything she does.

Sienna has been dancing competitively since she was 10, training in jazz, lyrical, ballet, acro, and contemporary. Her dance journey has taken her across North America, including opportunities to train and compete at American Dance Awards Nationals in Florida and Rhode Island, as well as the CLI Conservatory Summer Intensive in Massachusetts. ✨

She’s also continuing to grow as an artist through the Queen’s Competitive Dance Team, where she has the opportunity to perform and explore her passion for choreography.

Outside of the studio, Sienna is studying Biology in Queen’s Concurrent Education program, with hopes of becoming a teacher. It’s no surprise that she loves working with students — she enjoys helping dancers step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and become more comfortable embracing challenges.

We’re so excited to have Miss Sienna sharing her passion for dance and teaching with our KDF dancers! 🩰💙
