We are pleased to announce the appointment of Abby Miller as our new Director of Partnerships & Marketing! 🔥

In this role, Abby will be managing the organization’s social media presence, producing all digital media content used for promotion and brand development, while supporting and managing partnership activations. Abby has worked alongside the Blazers organization since 2023, producing photo and video content. Through her years of hard work and dedication with us, she has consistently demonstrated punctuality, commitment, and quality production from the beginning.

Abby is a NSCC Alumni after finishing the Applied Media and Communication Arts program in 2024. She developed professional design skills in all digital media aspects, while learning the basis of managing collaborative and industry focused projects. She is currently pursuing her digital marketing career, while being a Social and Marketing Assistant for IHG Hotels, and more.

Abby will play a key role in fulfillment of partnerships needs, and strengthening our digital engagement and presence, while maintaining consistency. Please help us in congratulating Abby on this exciting new chapter with the Blazers! 🎉

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua Nicholson as our new Director of Community Outreach & Marketing. 🔥

In this role, Joshua will lead the organization’s community engagement initiatives, supporting events, strengthening relationships with fans, local businesses, and supporters, and helping grow the Blazers’ presence through meaningful outreach and marketing. A dedicated member of the organization, Joshua spent the past three seasons as a defenceman with the team, demonstrating leadership, commitment, and pride both on and off the ice.

Currently pursuing a double major in Marketing and Management at Saint Mary’s University, he continues to develop the skills and knowledge needed to drive organizational growth and foster strong community connections. With experience in marketing, sponsorship development, audience engagement, and brand building.

Joshua will play a key role in expanding the Blazers’ reach and creating lasting partnerships that support the future success of the organization. Please join us in congratulating Joshua on this exciting new chapter with the Blazers! 🎉
