💡 YOUTH TEAM GROOMING, PRESENTED TD, Weaver Livestock, A-Way to Work - International Rural Exchange Canada 💡

The Youth Team Grooming Competition is a skill-focused event where teams of three have 15 minutes to groom and prepare a heifer to show ring standards. More than just a test of grooming ability, the competition encourages collaboration, time management, and professionalism in the show ring.

Teams are judged on:
🔹 Team participation
🔹 Grooming techniques
🔹 Percentage of involvement in the appearance of the animal
🔹 Knowledge of grooming procedures
🔹 Team dress and appearance

Showmanship is a skill-based event that highlights the dedication, knowledge, and professionalism of young cattle exhibitors. Unlike traditional conformation classes, Agribition's Youth Showmanship competition focuses entirely on the exhibitor's ability to prepare, present, and handle their animal in the show ring.

More than just a competition, it's a valuable opportunity for youth to develop essential livestock skills, responsibility, and show ring etiquette while celebrating their hard work and passion for the industry.

💡 JUNIOR STEER JACKPOT, PRESENTED BY Mazergroup 💡

The Junior Steer Jackpot gives junior exhibitors the opportunity to showcase top-quality calendar-year steer calves in an exciting competition that celebrates the next generation of the beef industry.

With payouts awarded to the top five placings, exhibitors have the chance to be recognized for the quality of their cattle and the effort they've put into preparing for the show ring.

New for 2026: Junior Steers will be allowed to be stalled in the purebred barns with the rest of your show string.
