🥋 COACHES WEEK FINALE: OUR FUTURE COACHES! ❤️

We’re wrapping up Coaches Week by shining the spotlight on some of our young and upcoming Junior Coaches — Sahara Kaip, Alex Ko & Thomas Berns! 👏🥋

Between school, their own training and busy competition schedules, these three still make time to be on the mats, helping with our judo programs and sharing what they’ve learned with the next generation.

They’re not just our junior coaches — they’re our future. ❤️

We’re proud to watch them grow as athletes, coaches and leaders.

🥋 COACHES WEEK SPOTLIGHT: KEON & JANNA! ❤️

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Keon Burnett & Janna Pratt — two coaches helping grow judo in our community!

Keon can be found on the mats at the Shinmura Heritage Club, where he serves as Head Instructor, sharing his knowledge and passion with the next generation of judoka. 🥋

Janna can be found assisting at Heritage or lending a hand with the Thom Trojans Judo program. She also continues to build connections between judo and Indigenous communities, helping create opportunities to share the sport, culture and values of judo.
