A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Opening Day on May 16th and helped make it such a success. From great golf and friendly competition to reconnecting with fellow Members, it was the perfect start to another memorable year at the Club.

A lot of fond memories have been made around Quilchena over the years, and some stories become part of the Club forever.

We recently dedicated the pond on Hole #5 as Milholm Pond in memory of longtime Member Dave Milholm.

Dave was known for his kindness, sense of humour, and the way he connected with people everywhere he went. As a teacher, friend, Member, and familiar face around the Club, he left a lasting impact on so many.

For those who knew Dave, the story of him ending up in this very pond years ago is still one that brings smiles and laughter today. Naming the pond after him felt like a meaningful way to honour both the memories and the man behind them.

He will be deeply missed and always remembered at Quilchena.

Thank you Franc for all the care and effort put into the flower beds around the club to start this season! The course is already looking amazing, and the added colour makes a real difference for everyone enjoying the grounds.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms, grandmothers, and mother figures in our community.

Thank you for the care, support, and love you bring. Whether today is spent with family or friends, we hope your day is filled with joy and appreciation.

Please join us in welcoming Brian Lewicki as Quilchena Golf and Country Club’s Golf Course Superintendent.

Brian brings more than 15 years of experience in golf course operations, turf management, irrigation systems, and team leadership, with his previous experience as a Golf Course Superintendent.

Our Members already know Brian through his work at Quilchena, where he has been a valued part of the team for the past several years and most recently served as Interim Golf Course Superintendent. During this transition period, Brian has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding course conditions. Under his leadership, the golf course continues to thrive and look fantastic, and his team has consistently commended his communication, support, and leadership style.

We are excited for the future of Quilchena under Brian’s leadership and look forward to the continued care and excellence he and the Turf Care team will bring to the Club. Welcome Brian!
