2026 Stampede Sevens Rugby recap. St. Albert fielded two high school girls teams with team Cunningham winning the U18 girls open. They only lost to the Edmonton peacocks side that won the elite division (and we were the only team to score on the Peacocks). Two St. Albert girls and one St. Albert lad played for the player organized Peacocks. Our U13 girls also joined up with Clansmen Junior Rugby for a unicorn filled weekend!

Two St. Albert girls and one St. Albert lad played for the newly established Peacocks. Our U13 girls also joined up with Clansmen Junior Rugby for a unicorn filled weekend!

The U16 & U18 junior rugby season kicks off this week! Cheer on the next generation and make your way to Dun Grottie at the Clan to support our senior rugby teams.

Don’t miss the bus! Seats are selling fast. We have two buses running for the upcoming national men’s team summer tests. Only $10 per person for transportation from the rugby club to Clarke Stadium and back.

If you’re not heading down to Clarke Stadium to catch it live swing by the club and catch the Canada game on the big screen. We’re also showing Nations Championship games on Saturdays this month. Breakfast will not be available but you are welcome to bring outside options.

**📢 Important Raffle Update – Prize Draw Date Amendment**

The St. Albert Rugby Football Club advises that, with approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis Commission (AGLC), the draw dates for our raffle (Licence #782051) have been amended.

**Ticket Sales:** Continue until **July 31, 2026**
**Prize Draws:** Conducted throughout **August 2026**

This amendment was requested following significant rainfall and weather-related cancellations over the past two weeks, which reduced our planned opportunities to sell tickets. Extending the prize draw schedule allows the club to recover those lost selling days while continuing to raise vital funds in support of our rugby programs.

**Important Information**

* All unsold tickets will be updated to reflect the revised prize draw dates.
* Anyone who has already purchased a ticket and wishes to request a refund due to the draw date change may do so by contacting the St. Albert Rugby Football Club via [email protected].
