Looking for a fun, supportive way for your child to learn how to skate? CanSkate is where so many skating journeys begin and we’re excited to welcome new and returning skaters to our club for the 2026–2027 season!
Whether your child is just starting out or wants to feel more confident on the ice, CanSkate helps young skaters develop their skating skills, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun while they learn.
Skating might become a favourite pastime through recreational skating or the foundation for a future in hockey, ringette or figure skating. CanSkate gives skaters the skills and confidence to choose their own path - and maybe even discover a lifelong love of being on the ice. ❤️

⛸️✨ Thank you for an incredible season! ✨⛸️
Now that we’ve had a chance to reflect on the season, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this year so special! 💙
From welcoming so many new families and growing our club, to launching our new PowerSkate 🏒 program, hosting our Family Skates, and performing at Rockwood Glows for the very first time - this season has truly been one to remember. 🌟
We’re so proud of all our skaters, especially those who stepped onto the competition ice for the first time, and our PreCanSkate and CanSkate skaters who showed amazing growth, confidence, and joy all season long.
A special thank you to our amazing coaches Kaitie, Brianna, Kim, Jillian and Ashlee. Your dedication, patience and passion for sharing your knowledge in a fun, encouraging way is what truly holds our club together. You are not only building strong skaters, but confident, resilient individuals, and we are so grateful for everything you do. 💙
And a huge thank you to our dedicated Program Assistants and amazing volunteers. You are the heart of everything we do, and we truly couldn’t do it without you. 👏
