🌊 World Oceans Day

What happens on land doesn't stay on land.

Groundwater, watersheds, and waterways are all connected to our oceans. Responsible environmental management upstream helps protect water quality, aquatic habitats, and ecosystem health downstream.

Healthy oceans start long before the coastline.

We were proud to support and congratulate Bitdeer at this week's groundbreaking ceremony for its first Canadian data centre in Alberta.

It was encouraging to see strong support from local municipalities and the Provincial Government, including representation from Todd Loewen and Dale Nally.

With energization planned for 2027, the Bitdeer Fox Creek project is expected to create hundreds of construction jobs and 30 permanent positions. Bitdeer has expressed a commitment to hiring local talent, with opportunities for experienced professionals and new graduates alike.

Congratulations to the entire team. We look forward to seeing the next phase of this exciting project move forward.
