Our junior treasurer this season is Sasha!
This will be sasha's second year at UTM and one the team!
She was incredibly involved last year, participating in multiple destination regattas.
She went all the way to BC!
Her effort and skill earned her best crew this season!

Our Regatta Coordinator this year is Cynthia!
She did an amazing job last year as coordinator and she is back!
Entering her 4th year at York, she helped coach our team this past season and continues to provide valuable leadership!
Excited to have her back!!

Our social media coordinator is Amélie this year!
(Its me 🙈)
She is entering her second year at U of T and second year on the team!!
Amélie's interest in art and design led her to the socials role.
Dms are open for her to reply to any questions or concerns about the upcoming season!

Our fundraising coordinator this year is Michael!
Michael comes all the way from the university of Guelph where he is completing a BBA for accounting!
He has an interesting favourite boat, but for U of T he participates in both our 420 racing and keelboat races!
Truly well rounded!

Rowan is our captain this sailing season!!
After only one year on the team, Rowan proved his sailing skills and won rookie of the year.
Going into his third year at Rotman, he will lead the team this coming season.
He loves 29ers but is even better at 420 sailing!

Our new (lead) treasurer this year is Hayato!
He is stepping up from his Jr. treasurer position.
Hayato is a management student at UTM, and has improved his sailing so much since coming to U of T!
All the way from Tokyo, he is heading into his third year here!
If you are a UTM student and interested in sailing, we welcome students from all campuses!!

Next up for our exec team is our Vice President Take!
Take comes all the way from Tokyo and is an extremely talented sailor.
Before his step up to VP he led the team as captain while impressively balancing his degree in engineering physics.
Like Maya, he also was instrumental in winning CanAms last year!!

Introducing our executive team for the 2026/2027 season!
Beginning with our president Maya!
Maya is from Rhode Island and is going in to her fourth year at U of T.
She is officially moving up from VP and leading us as president this year. Maya helped win CanAms for us in 2024 and is an amazing coach and leader as well as the funniest person on the team!!

Congratulations to our 2025 award winners! Last Friday we had an informal ceremony where we distributed our awards for the season.

Congratulations to .williamss for winning Crew of the Year! Sasha, a rookie, attended multiple regattas this year, and demonstrated her exceptional sailing skills!

Congratulations to .0 for winning Rookie of the Year. This award was presented to Rowan for his skills, commitment to our team, and leadership.

Congratulations to .m_17 for winning Skipper of the Year. Alex consistently demonstrates his skill at the helm, at practices and regattas. He also helps others, and was an excellent captain in 2025!

Congratulations to for winning the Wet Table Award. This award is presented to the person who has contributed the most to the spirit of the team. Thank you Cynthia for your commitment to the team and great energy!
