Congratulations to our 2025 award winners! Last Friday we had an informal ceremony where we distributed our awards for the season.

Congratulations to .williamss for winning Crew of the Year! Sasha, a rookie, attended multiple regattas this year, and demonstrated her exceptional sailing skills!

Congratulations to .0 for winning Rookie of the Year. This award was presented to Rowan for his skills, commitment to our team, and leadership.

Congratulations to .m_17 for winning Skipper of the Year. Alex consistently demonstrates his skill at the helm, at practices and regattas. He also helps others, and was an excellent captain in 2025!

Congratulations to for winning the Wet Table Award. This award is presented to the person who has contributed the most to the spirit of the team. Thank you Cynthia for your commitment to the team and great energy!

Finished 4th at the CICSA Keelboat Nationals at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club after a weekend of close racing and wild wind shifts.

Happy International Woman’s day!! We are thrilled to have such a strong group of woman who always strive for excellence. They are an amazing example of what woman in sport are capable of and are an inspiration to us all 🥳🥳

Congratulations to the newly elected and appointed members of the UofT competitive executive team! We are so excited to have so many new members of exec team including our Captain, Regatta, Social and Fundraising Coordinators, as well as our Jr. Treasurer! We are also grateful and excited to see old familiar faces that will continue to uphold the ecstatic and vibrant UofT sailing community. Once again congratulations and here’s to another upcoming fabulous season!!

Last night we held our annual awards night to celebrate those on the team with exceptional skill and who went above and beyond for our club! It has been an amazing season with everyone being a great part of community but these people stood above 🥳

Congratulations to on winning our Most Valuable Player award. This award is given to the sailor with exceptional skill, dedication to the team and overall had the most impact on our team. Richard is our vice president as well as our most active sailor. He works countless hours behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly and then excels racing.

Congratulations to for winning Female Sailor of the Year! Sabrina time and time again has been exceptional as both a sailor and a mentor for those on the team. Even as CICSA president, Sabrina always finds time to coach and sail and lead us to success!

Congratulations to for winning Male Sailor of the Year! Take though very humble, is exceptional skilled and an amazing contributor to the mood of our team. Congratulations Take on this award!

Congratulations to for winning female rookie of the year. This award was presented to Cynthia for her amazing skill, willingness to learn and commitment to our team.

Congratulations to for winning male rookie of the year. Braiden won not only though his skill but by always being eager to sail, willing to learn and for being a big part of the spirit of the team!

Congratulations on winning the Most Improved Sailor award. Hayato has demonstrated amazing development over this past year and we cannot wait to see what we have in store for the next season!

Congratulations to for winning the Service Award. Ilian has been an integral part of the sailing team for many years and has served as a mentor for all of us. Thank you so much for all you have done!

This past weekend uoft sailing competed in the Canadian colligate fleet racing national championship, finishing second overall 🥈🥳🥳🥳 Thank you so much to and for hosting such a great event. Thank you and for the great photos and Ivy thank you for letting the team stay at your very cool house 😎 Also shout out for the amazing hats. The team had a great time and a wonderful end to fall sailing this year 📠🤩

Last weekend our sailors competed at keel boat nationals hosted by we finished with a hard fought 🥉and had a great time all around 🥳🥳🥳
