A lot of women think the answer is to keep cutting calories lower and lower, but often that’s exactly what makes them feel worse.
👉 You may be cutting your calories too aggressively.
A calorie deficit should help you lose body fat, not leave you feeling exhausted, starving, and constantly thinking about food. The bigger the deficit, the harder it can be to stick to long-term.
👉 You may only be tracking calories and protein.
One of the biggest mistakes I see is women obsessing over calories and protein while completely ignoring the rest of their nutrition. Your body still needs healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients to function properly. Weight loss isn’t just about hitting a calorie target, it’s about giving your body the nutrients it needs to thrive.
👉 You may be avoiding healthy fats.
Healthy fats are essential, especially for women. Foods like salmon, eggs, avocado, nuts, seeds, and olive oil support hormone function, overall health, and satiety. Cutting them out completely is not the answer.
👉 You may be focusing on eating less food instead of eating nutrient-dense foods.
Many people fill their diets with low-calorie processed foods just to keep calories low. Instead, focus on whole foods, fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, healthy fats, and high-fiber carbohydrates that help support digestion, energy, and overall well-being.
