Yooooo Shredders! We will be doing an end of the semester ride at Burnt Bridge this Saturday, May 28th at 10:30am! Stick around after the ride as we will be cheffing up glizzys and celebrating a semester of wicked rides and events!

Reminder that there are no fees to join the club, and you do NOT need to be a UVic student. Please sign the waiver in the link tree if you have not already done so!

The Brickyard Social: Tickets Are Live and we have been given a promo code for you shredders! DM us to access it!

Mark your calendars! The Brickyard Social is happening on April 4th, in Victoria’s Market Square. Kicking off a summer of mountain bike events, the social is a night of bike movies, live music, friends, a few beverages, and plenty of chances to take home some rad prizes and gear.

The evening will premiere three of our latest, unreleased videos, including “Against Better Judgement” which follows Mt. Prevost Everest, the first episode of ’s EJ Days series, Karaoke, a fresh edit from a quick trip to California, as well as guest movie, “On The Luce” from .vaneesteren. It’s a stacked evening!

This SATURDAY, March 7th!! We are so stoked to announce the first Chainless race of the semester! This is a friendly, non competitive timed race for fun. Post race we will be having a tailgate sponsored by supplying the beverages, along with hot dogs, prizes and all around good vibes!! This event is exactly what it sounds like, a timed race down Double D at Tzou, except you will have no chain. Your ability to pump, corner and carry speed will be tested to the max!

We will be meeting at Mt. Tzouhalem in the trail head/ parking lot at 10:30am. From there we will warm up with a short group ride warmup, then meeting to remove chains for the race.

We will have ability groups and ride leaders for each group, however we will not be coaching, so please ensure you are comfortable on your bike!

PLEASE make sure you leave Victoria with plenty of time (aim to be at the lot no later than 10:20) as we will be leaving at 10:30. Don’t forget snacks, water, and a multitool/ spare tube!

HARBOUR VIEW GROUP RIDE! THIS SATURDAY FEBRUARY 28th @ 10:30 AM!

Meet at the Sea to Sea Regional Trail Parking lot on Harbourview Road before 10:30 as we will be rolling out shortly after.

This is an intermediate ride but we have plenty of opportunities to split into groups and checkout features so come out for an awesome time!

MOVIE NIGHT 🎬‼️

We’re screening Deathgrip 2 this Friday, Feb 6 from 6:30–8:00pm in David Strong C116.

Come hang, watch some quality riding, and kick it with the club.
After the movie, we’ll be heading out for a low-key pub crawl, so feel free to ride with us dt🍻

ARE YOU READY TO FEST?!

THE NANAIMO/HAMMERFEST TRIP IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!

January 24th we will be riding some trails new to the club at Hammerfest. Followed by camping and fest at Rathtrevor Beach Campground. Day 2 we’ll make our way down the island to everyone’s favourite trails on Mt. Benson.

The $30 trip fee covers dinner, breakfast, camping, and fest supplies aka red truck
