Clover Point parkrun # 371
April 11, 2026
It was a typical spring day down at Clover Point this morning - and by that, we mean the wind snuck up on us, as it often does. Nevertheless, and despite two other local events today, we were blessed with a great turnout of 144 participants. We welcomed five participants to their very first parkrun and another twelve completed our course for the first time, including some folks from Brisbane, Australia. Welcome!
Our first finishers were David Stacey and Katie Bennett in 17:29 and 21:31, respectively. We had nine participants record new personal bests, and shout out to Tim Croyle for achieving his 25th parkrun milestone. Congratulations to all of you!
You may have also noticed that our participants love to ham it up for photographer Joseph "Crazy Legs" Camilleri - we've included a few of our favourites here, but there are more in the album on our photo page (link below):

If you'd like to help us out by volunteering at an upcoming event, you can check out the volunteer roster on our website or in the app, see what's available and drop us a line with what interests you. Clover Point parkrun #370
April 4, 2026
Clover Point was hopping today, as we welcomed 164 finishers out for a fun Easter themed event. We kicked things off with a spoon and egg race, and were fortunate the wind cooperated. We welcomed 28 participants to their very first parkrun, and another 8 parkrunners joining us for the first time - including out of towners from Australia, the UK and Regina (amongst others). Welcome to all of you. We'd also like to give a special shout out to our friends from Fernwood Social Run Club, some of whom completed their very first 5k ever! How fun is that?
First finishers were Josh McStravick and Natalia Seal in 19:03 and 22:29, respectively. Seventeen (17) participants recorded new PBs, and a special congrats to Emily Wordley for completing her 50th milestone. Well done!
Thanks to John Wright for these great photos. No big photo album this week, as we were all busy enjoying the sunshine! But a huge thank you to our entire volunteer team for their work today - it would literally not be possible without you. If you'd like to volunteer at an upcoming event, check out the website (or the parkrun app) to find out what roles are available and drop us a line if anything interests you. It's that easy!
Enjoy the beautiful spring weather this week, and we'll see you all next Saturday. Get out and enjoy it!

Not a bad day for the first parkrun of spring, as a solid crowd of 164 participants and 18 volunteers helped us say goodbye to winter. No rain and a very slight breeze made for an enjoyable if slightly chilly morning.
We were joined by 22 people taking part in their very first parkrun, and 6 parkrunners joining us for the very first time - congratulations, and welcome! Out of towners were from Brisbane, Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto.
A healthy total of 20 participants set new PBs - well done! First finishers were David Foley and Judy Kim in 17:28 and 19:29, respectively. What's more, it was a busy day for milestones - we would like to congratulate Bill Hrick on his 100th, co-Event Director Sean Mitchell on his 50th (slacker), and Alycia van Renesse and Jenny Chu on their 25th milestones. Congratulations to all of you.
Our crack photographer Joseph was back from the Tokyo Marathon and busy snapping some photos - we've included some here, but feel free to peruse the album at the link below. Photos are free to share, but please credit Joe - and please tag us!
