If there were one word to describe Braden's professional attitude, it would be passion. Which is pretty darn fitting, considering his role.

ā€œHustle beats talent when talent doesn’t hustle.ā€

That’s the best way I could describe this series up to this point. The Cavs have a much more talented roster, especially with two of our best players out for most games due to injury, but the Raps have played better as a team and been the harder-working team in most quarters. So here we are, Game Seven. Win or go home.

Let’s go Raptors!!!

Three cities in four days. I can’t say it hit Eras Tour levels, but it sure felt like the start of a new one for me.

Four intense, fun, and fulfilling days with Rich, Dana, and Steph bringing ideas and insights to our members and guests in Burnaby, Calgary, and Edmonton. It was my first multi-city run, and let me tell you, I have a whole new appreciation for the people who live out of a suitcase for a living.

Watching Rich work was an education in itself. Same presentation, different city, subtle adjustments each time.
It was a masterclass in reading the room.

Watching Dana roll up her sleeves at 5 am to set up, be a super host, tear down, and do it all again the next day was awe-inspiring.

And getting time with my co-coach Steph at the first two stops led to some great laughs and even better ideas on how we can help our clients move forward in uncertain times.

To the members in the room — seriously, you crushed it. Your willingness to share openly in the masterminds, even with peers from your own market, is the hallmark of what makes this coaching community so special.

My presentation got sharper each time I delivered it, and Rich gave me some helpful feedback, both complimentary and constructive, on how to make an even bigger impact next time. I guess this new era is as much about learning as it is about teaching. And I’m here for all of it.

I have a month at home full of coaching sessions and an AI workshop before we hit the road again in June for our Members Retreat in Quebec City. I plan to make the most of every minute of it.

And by the way, Alberta is cold this time of year 🄶

Today we wrap up ten incredible days in the Coachella Valley šŸœļø

When you live on an island in the Pacific Northwest, there’s something magical about the vastness of the desert 🌵 Not to mention how hot and dry it is 🄵

We made many memories together on this trip, but the highlight was definitely the day trip to Joshua Tree National Park. We popped the top off our Jeep and drove 56 miles from the western gate in the Mojave Desert all the way through the Colorado Desert's southern gates. We stopped for some hikes, sights and lots of pictures šŸ“ø

We’re excited to come home to our beautiful island and see our family and friends — and Marley the Golden Retriever 🐾

On Monday, I start a new chapter in my career, and I am very excited to share more about it with you.

Thank you for all the birthday love today. This next trip around the sun is going to be the best one yet, but for now, I’m just looking forward to the trip to the desert on Sunday to spend a couple of quality weeks with the love of my life ā¤ļø See you in two weeks. New career path. Same Coach B āœŒļø

Meet, Gary. He’s my new — and first — AI Teammate. He hasn’t started yet and has a lot of training to do before he starts in April. But I’m pretty excited to watch his skills expand over time.

And if Gary ends up being as awesome as I think he will be for my business, I plan on helping agents like you hire their own ā€œGary’s.ā€ — but I’m sure you will name yours something way cooler.

This passion project, which I hope will soon become a professional one, is not a solo effort. I’m pumped to work with Shahab on it, who is just wrapping up a 6-month AI & Automation internship at my brokerage with 200+ agents. And let’s say, he’s learned a lot about how even the most productive agents have major gaps in their tech use.

I will be sharing a lot more about Gary’s progress in the coming months - the good and the bad.

Sometimes you have to get lost to find yourself — and there’s nowhere we love getting lost more than Port Renfrew.

Four incredibly restorative days and nights, and now we’re home, ready to make the most of the year ahead.

If you’ve ever struggled (or are struggling now) with The January 1st Blues, this one’s for you. I’ve found the remedy: a 3-step process that takes you from Fear of the Future to FORECASTING your success.Ā

I’m sharing a replay from a session I hosted for our team where I cover the first 2 steps. If you’re ready to move past ā€œShelf-Developmentā€ and build an Action Plan that actually works, I want you to have this.Ā

ā€œIf you leave people in a better place than you found them, you will be very successful in life.ā€

I first heard those words in 2003 as a commission-based floor covering consultant at Jordan’s Flooring. I was only 15, but that single piece of advice became the foundation for everything I do today—and the inspiration for my mantra: Elevate the State.

It’s a reminder to myself to leave you in a better state than I found you in. Whether that’s from a coaching session, a training workshop, or a keynote speech, my goal is to leave you in a better place. I don’t always hit that mark, but I always aim for it.

And as of next week, I have been aiming for that target for over a decade as I have officially been coaching professionally for 10 years.

In addition to the one-on-one coaching I’ve provided through Richard Robbins International (RRI) over the past decade, I’ve also coached hundreds of agents at RE/MAX Camosun and RE/MAX Professionals. With a group of clients from coast to coast and 300 agents on Vancouver Island, I’ve been able to identify the universal truths that transcend market-based tactics.

To celebrate this milestone, I’ve compiled 10 of my most impactful insights from the last 5,000 hours in the chair. These are the patterns that help agents build a business they actually LOVE owning.

A huge thank you to the mentors who helped me reach this mark:

Dana Richard: For helping me become the coach I am today.
Rich and Sue: For trusting me as a 27-year-old coach.
Charlie and Graeme: For giving me the opportunity to set up shop within our brokerage.

And most of all—thank you to the REALTORSĀ® who have trusted me with their most intimate and vulnerable hopes and dreams. It is a privilege to help you become the heroes of your own stories.

Here’s to the next 10 years of Sustainable Success.
