The trails donβt happen without the people behind them. π€π²
From early morning course marking, to cheering at aid stations, to handing out finish line food after a long day on the trails, our volunteers are a huge part of what makes the Vancouver Island Trail Running Series feel like community.
Port Alberni is coming up on June 6th and weβre still looking for volunteers to help make race day happen.
If youβve ever wanted to be part of the energy without running the course, this is your sign.
Volunteer roles include:
β Aid stations
β Course support
β Finish line
β Set up & take down
β Course marshals
Come spend the day in the forest with us. Send us an email to [email protected] πΏ

Lake Cowichan weekend reminded us why we keep coming back to the trails. π²π
The early morning energy, muddy shoes at the finish line, quiet moments in the forest, and that feeling of pushing yourself alongside a community that understands why we do this in the first place.
From above, itβs easy to see how special these weekends really are.
A small start/finish line tucked into the trees bringing together hundreds of runners, volunteers, crews, and stories for one unforgettable day on Vancouver Island.
