These are the perfect way to introduce outdoor rock climbing yo your kids through building skills in the safety of our indoor facility, then using them outdoors on the granite walls at Cal-Cheak.

Our Rock Solid summer kids camps are the perfect way to keep you kids active and engaged during the summer break.

Spread over 2 days, this camp develops key climbing skills in the safety of our indoor facility, then takes them outdoors, spending a full day climbing at the stunning crags at Cal-Cheak.

Set in old growth woodlands looking over the Tantalus mountain range, Cal-Cheak is our favourite guiding area and is also our destination of choice for our private guiding tours.

We have multiple dates from the end of July through August, but spaces are filling up. Private dates can be made available on request (minimum 4 particpants).

We look forward to welcoming you and your kids to the Core and experience the amazing climbing around Whistler.

The Whistler Core is Hiring! Front Desk Sales Associate

Are you passionate about rock climbing, fitness and helping others achieve their climbing and fitness goals?

We’re looking for an energetic and motivated Front Desk Sales Associate to join our team at the Whistler Core.

Pay: $23–$25 per hour + bonuses & tips
Perks: ski pass, gym membership, training and mentoring opportunities
Location: Whistler Core Climbing and Fitness Gym – Whistler, BC
Hours: Full-time (32+ hours per week) or for the right fit, we will consider Part-time (16+ hours per week)
Start Date: May/June 2026

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate frontline operations and ensure smooth daily activities
• Welcome members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage inquiries, memberships, and daily sales
• Support trainers and coaches with scheduling and communication
• Assist with marketing initiatives and member outreach
• Perform opening and closing procedures

Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience in sales, administration, hospitality, or customer service
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable using MS Office and Excel (MindBody POS experience is an asset)
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in health, fitness, or an active lifestyle

Experience or accreditation in climbing or fitness is considered a bonus, but not required.

We are particularly interested in candidates seeking a stable, long-term role within a growing organization.

Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, healthy spaces? The Whistler Core is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our environmentally conscious team.

As part of our commitment to a chemical-free workout environment, we use only natural cleaning products and methods. Your role will be key in ensuring our guests enjoy a consistently spotless and welcoming space.

Position Details:
• Schedule: 2 days per week (3–4 hours per shift)
• Shifts: Sunday and Monday evenings, 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Wage: $23–$26 per hour (based on experience)
• Benefits: Staff membership, industry discounts, and a supportive, active team environment

What You’ll Do
• Greet and assist members and visitors while providing excellent customer service
• Handle membership inquiries, sign-ups, and front desk operations – including end of day cashouts/reconciliation and other closing procedures
• Instruct and supervise climbers of all skill levels
• Assist with planning climbing classes, programs, and events
• General climbing route maintenance
• Ensure safety protocols are always followed
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming gym environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant experience in climbing
• Passion for climbing, fitness, health, and helping others succeed
