Four Ravens Drafted in 2026 WHL Draft
It was a banner year for Semiahmoo Ravens at the 2026 Western Hockey League draft where four alumni players were selected, including three in the first round. The 2011 born players chosen were as follows:
Parker McMillan, Forward (1st Round, 2nd Overall) ➡️ Wenatchee Wild
Eli Vickers, Defence (1st Round, 3rd Overall) ➡️ Vancouver Giants
Nathan Roberts, Defence (1st Round, 23rd Overall) ➡️ Swift Current Broncos
Jayden Ni, Forward (11th Round, 247th Overall) ➡️ Kelowna Rockets
There were multiple accolades for the Ravens, figuratively and literally:
First time ever that two players were selected in the top three picks
First time ever that three players were selected in the first round
Third time a Raven was selected 2nd overall (Gillies, Gavin)
For anyone following the program, it was likely not surprising that the Ravens were well represented at the draft given the age groups’ success over the past six years. As a collective, the group won their league banner in U11 A1, won the Provincial Championships in U13 A1 and had a remarkable run at the 2024 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.
Congratulations again to Parker, Eli, Nathan, and Jayden, as well as the many other Ravens alumni we expect to see at various WHL camps over the course of the summer.

Congratulations to Ravens alumni, Jayden Ni, on being selected by the Kelowna Rockets in the 2026 WHL Draft, in the 11th Round, 247th overall. Jayden came to the Ravens in 2022-2023 and played two years on our U13 A1 team, winning the Provincial Championship his last season before playing one season with Delta Academy’s U15 Varsity team then moving to St. George’s School U15 Prep team in 2025-26.
Last year, with St. George’s, Ni amassed 28 goals, 31 assists, for 59 points in 30 CSSHL games.

Congrats to Nathan Roberts, Ravens Alumni, for being selected in the first round of the 2026 Western Hockey League Draft, 23rd overall, by the Swift Current Broncos. Roberts played with the Ravens from U6 thru U13, before joining Delta Academy for his U15 seasons. In his time with Semiahmoo, Roberts was part of a team that won the PCAHA banner in U11 A1 and won the Provincial Championships in U13 A1 while also making it to the finals of the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.

Congratulations to Eli Vickers for being selected third overall (Round 1, Pick 3) in the 2026 WHL Draft by the Vancouver Giants! Vickers played with the Ravens from U6 thru U13 before moving on to play with Delta Academy for their U15 Prep program the last two seasons. Over his two seasons with Delta, Vickers racked up 98 points (30 goals, 68 assists) in just 65 games as a lead defenseman.

Congratulations Semiahmoo Ravens Park McMillan on being drafted in the first round of the 2026 Western Hockey League draft, 2nd overall, by the Wenatchee Wild. Parker played hockey for the Ravens from U6 through U13 before moving on to Yale Academy for his two U15 seasons where he set the CSSHL record for most career points in U15 Prep with 147 points and recently being named the Most Valuable Player for the 2025-26 season. His final season in U13 with the Ravens was a memorable one as he helped his team reach the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament finals.
