The Club is raising money to cover the cost to replace the items stolen in our 3 latest break-ins. This has now happened 4 times in the past 5 years.
In the latest event on April 12th, the alarm went off at 1:00 AM and the police arrived, only to have the thieves gone already.
In the first incident, items stolen were the gloves, bats, and ball equipment, including pitching machines and bases. Many of these items were used to support the “Learn to Play Program” offered for youth free of charge in the area.
In the last 3 thefts, thieves cut through the chain link fence and the wall of the main building; items stolen were: lawnmowers, wheelbarrows, hoses, w**d whackers, and our maintenance tools.
Giants’ volunteers spend countless hours maintaining the facility. The Club is raising money to replace our losses. All monies donated go straight to replacing these items. No donation is too small.
Your support is welcomed.

Registration time!
The Club is pleased to announce there will be a registration event at the Chalmers Community Club / Koskie Field / Giants Field on Saturday, May 6, at 1:00 PM for teams that are NOT AA or AAA level.
This will be the first such opportunity for the Learn-To-Play program (ages 7 and under), and an additional opportunity for the U9, U11, U13, and U15 teams, specifically for those who have not yet registered through the Red River Valley Baseball website.
We are also entertaining all offers of help with these teams in terms of coaches and anyone else willing to pitch in with any form of help that will help make these programs and teams a great experience for the kids!
Of note: If the Club gets access to the clubhouse, the event will take place there, if not, then the representatives will be at Koskie / Giants Field, right across from Elmwood High School.
