Skate Canada Manitoba is part of the largest figure skating governing body in the world – Skate Canada. We provide standards and rules for the figure skating activities of our members clubs. The Association conducts training seminars for skaters and coaches, provides financial support to provincial team athletes and disseminates information concerning figure skating to the general public. Skate Canada Manitoba also promotes the National Coaching Certification Program and organizes free skating and synchronized team skating competitions. This area is for sharing of information about and for skating and figure skating.

✨ Meet Samantha Greenbank! ✨

This introduction may be a little overdue, but we’re so happy to officially introduce Samantha as part of the Skate Manitoba team! 💙⛸️

Samantha lives near Moosomin, Saskatchewan, and is a proud mom of three, grandma of one, and part of her family’s farming operation.

Her involvement in skating began when her daughter became a figure skater, and she quickly jumped in to help wherever she could, including serving on the Virden Skating Club board for many years.

We’re so grateful to have Samantha sharing her experience, knowledge, and passion for the sport with Skate Manitoba and supporting our athletes as they work toward their goals.

We’re so happy to have you on the team, Samantha! 💙
