LIFE GOT BUSY. STRENGTH GOT LEFT BEHIND.

Work got busy.

The gym became less important.

A few missed sessions became a few missed months.

Then a few missed years.

One day carrying shopping, loading the car, moving furniture or climbing the stairs feels harder than it used to.

Not because you’re broken.

Not because it’s too late.

Because strength responds to use.

And when you stop using it, you gradually lose it.

The good news?

Strength comes back.

You don’t need experience.

You don’t need to be fit before you start.

You just need somewhere to begin.

Our resident Ultra Runner Nigel after this evenings light circuit.

45 exercises (TRX, dumbbell, kettlebell), 1 minute on - 10 seconds off. Yep 45 exercises of 1 minute with just 10 seconds rest between each. A continuous 52 minute set.

They’re an odd bunch these Ultra Runners

Two group sessions for you this Monday, our women’s only session Stronger Together at 9.30am and our heavy circuit Angry Vegan Strongest at 6.30pm.

These are small group personal training sessions rather than traditional exercise classes with participant numbers capped and personal coaching available throughout. All sessions are open to all regardless of age, fitness level or experience, however booking is essential.

You asked, we answered! Originally our Stronger Together Women’s Only strength sessions were going to be Monday and Friday at 0930, but as multiple people pointed out, this excluded those who work a regular 9-5.

So, Stronger Together is now Monday and Friday at 0930 AND Tuesday at 1830!

Starting Monday 11th May, all welcome, no experience necessary, however booking is essential - please DM through here or email [email protected].

A great photo of our Di, Hayley and Ian after completing our '1008 Rep Challenge'. The challenge had to be completed in an hour and they managed it with nearly 30 seconds to spare!

We’ve had a growing number of requests for a women-only strength session. So we’ve put one on!

Introducing Stronger Together.

A small group strength session for women who want to get stronger, feel more confident, and train properly without feeling self-conscious or out of place.

Hosted by Coach Fran and Coach Nicky at our private gym in Huddersfield, this is coached strength training in a structured circuit format. Exercises are adapted to suit all ages and all levels. No experience needed. Beginners welcome.

‘I was invited to speak to all the lovely ladies at The Eden Centre Highfields this weekend sharing the benefits of healthy eating and staying active as we get older, ideally timed as May is Women’s Health Month 💛

If I’m honest
 it was way out of my comfort zone. Standing up and speaking to a room full of people isn’t something that comes naturally to me. I felt very nervous at the start but once I got going, something shifted.

Talking about a subject I care so deeply about - supporting women through peri-menopause, menopause and beyond made it feel easier, more natural, and genuinely enjoyable.

It was such a privilege to be in a room with so many incredible women, sharing experiences, asking questions (so many questions!), and really engaging with the conversation.

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do.

Sometimes the things that feel the most uncomfortable are the ones that help us grow the most 💕’
