HOW TO REMEMBER A CHOREOGRAPHY

Picking up choreography quickly isn't a talent you're born with. It's a skill you can train. Here's one tip to try:

Watch your teacher first to understand their movement, ex*****on, and timing. Then take the training wheels off: look away and dance it on your own, earlier than feels comfortable. Learn with your eyes, practise with your body. The sooner you stop mirroring, the faster it sticks.

This is exactly the kind of skill we build at ZeoT, and this course period is a beautiful place to practise it.

She danced with light itself.

No formal training. No classical technique. Just silk, light, and a vision that changed everything.

Loïe Fuller swirled metres of fabric under coloured electric lights, becoming the first artist to make lighting part of the dance. Toulouse-Lautrec drew her. Rodin sculpted her. She was a muse to an entire generation of artists who'd never seen anything like her.

She reminds us that you don't need permission to create something new.

Almost 25 years of teaching, and this still feels like a privilege — the quiet moments before class, the music, the women who fill this room with energy week after week.

This studio has been my second home for a long time. And these days, it's also available for others to hire, for classes, workshops and rehearsals.

Movement + Makeup = confidence from the inside out. 🤍

We've teamed up with for something special: Glow From the Inside Out, a confidence afternoon for women in our Zürich studio.

After a welcome drink, we begin with 45 minutes of bellydance — no experience needed, just music, movement, and the feeling of being fully in your body. Then we cool down with stretching and breathwork, before settling into a makeup workshop with Koosmetik: bring your own makeup and discover what you can already do with it, for guidance that makes you feel seen, not changed. We finish with drinks, snacks and conversation.

Two disciplines, one shared belief: that confidence is something every woman can unlock. Come as you are, leave feeling genuinely transformed.
