En el Yoga Iyengar, la silla es un maestro silencioso. 🪑 Nos ayuda a entender la dirección del movimiento, a sostener una postura invertida con seguridad o a abrir el pecho cuando el cansancio del día pesa.

La práctica es un laboratorio de observación. No buscamos la foto perfecta, buscamos la acción correcta. Esa que te llevas puesta cuando sales por la puerta y caminas por la calle con una sensación distinta de presencia. 🌿

In Iyengar Yoga, the chair is a silent teacher. 🪑 It helps us understand the direction of movement, support an inversion safely, or open the chest when the day's fatigue feels heavy.

Practice is a laboratory for observation. We aren’t chasing the perfect photo; we are seeking the right action—the kind that stays with you as you walk out the door and move through the streets with a renewed sense of presence. 🌿

Hay un silencio especial que se crea antes de empezar la clase. Es el momento de preparar tu espacio: elegir el bolster, ajustar el cinturón, colocar los bloques. 🕯️

En nuestro centro, este "set-up" es parte del yoga. Es el rito de dejar fuera el ruido de la ciudad y el ritmo frenético para entrar en el tiempo del cuerpo. Cada soporte es una invitación a profundizar, a ir más allá de la capa física y encontrar un poco de orden interno.

There is a special silence that settles in just before class begins. It’s the moment to prepare your space: choosing the bolster, adjusting the strap, and placing the blocks. 🕯️

In our studio, this 'set-up' is part of the yoga itself. It is the ritual of leaving the city noise and the frantic pace behind to enter into the body’s own rhythm. Each prop is an invitation to go deeper—to move beyond the physical layer and find a sense of internal order.

He tenido la alegría de participar en un curso de profundización, compartiendo la práctica con alumnos de Georgie. Me llevo la experiencia de una práctica compartida y la hermosa acogida de su comunidad de Iyengar Yoga.
