Week 34/52 - 2026 - fitness edition

A very special week for our little family šŸ„¹šŸ’—

My little baby officially turned 2, and I honestly don’t know where those two years have gone!

There were lots of birthday celebrations, presents, family time, walks, adventures, trips to the highland wildlife park… and, of course, a little Starbucks stop because balance and pumpkin spicešŸ˜‚ā˜•ļø

This week has actually been a lovely reminder of why fitness matters so much to mešŸ’•

Not because I need or want to spend hours in the gym. Not because I need to eat perfectly, but because I want to have the strength and energy to enjoy my life and see my baby grow up

I want to walk, explore, carry her when she’s tired, play with her and keep up with whatever adventure she decides we’re going on next šŸ˜‚ and trust me she is FAST when she’s running šŸ˜‚

I want my fitness to fit around those moments, not take me away from them

This is exactly what I want for the women I work with toošŸ’œ you can work towards losing weight, getting stronger and feeling better without putting your entire life on hold

Because the goal isn’t to have the ā€œperfectā€ fitness routine…

It’s to build a healthy lifestyle that actually works alongside the life you already havešŸ’œ

Now excuse me while I go and cry over the fact that I have a TWO year oldšŸ„¹šŸ˜‚

What was the highlight of your week?šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

My little girl turned 2 this week šŸ’•šŸ„¹

And becoming a mum completely changed the way I look at fitness

Before having her, a lot of my motivation came from how I wanted to look…

Now?

I want to be able to keep up with her

I want to run around the garden with her, get down on the floor and play, carry her when she wants picked up, go on adventures with her and have the energy to actually enjoy our days together šŸ’œ

I want to be strong enough for real life

And I want her to grow up seeing exercise as something positive and fun. It’s something we do because it makes us feel strong, capable and goodšŸ’Ŗ

Not something we have to do because we’ve eaten too much…

That’s why fitness is so important to mešŸ’œ

It’s not about having the ā€œperfectā€ body

It’s about making sure my body can keep up with the life I want to live and that’s exactly why I believe fitness for mums needs to look different šŸ’Ŗ

You don’t need to spend hours in the gym

You don’t need to follow a restrictive diet

You don’t need to put your family life on hold

You need something that helps you become stronger and healthier while still allowing you to be the best mum you can…

Because these little people don’t stay little forever🄹

And I want to be fit enough to enjoy every minute I can with minešŸ’œ that’s my why…

If you’ve ever looked at someone else’s fitness routine and thought…

ā€œHow am I supposed to fit THAT into my life?ā€

I totally get it

When you’re working, looking after the kids, sorting childcare, making everyones meals, doing all the housework, and trying to remember what day it is šŸ˜… the answer isn’t going to be ā€œfind more timeā€

And it’s definitely not to start another plan that is made for people who don’t have a busy life

You don’t need hours in the gym

You don’t need to cut out all the foods you enjoy

You don’t need to exercise every single day

And you definitely don’t need to give up halfway through a week because you had one bad day

You need a plan that works when life is busy because your fitness shouldn’t have to compete with your family, your work or your social life

It should fit around them šŸ’œ

If you’re a busy working mum who’s fed up with starting again, this is for you

And if you want help figuring out how to make it work around your life, DM me ā€œREADYā€ and let’s chatšŸ’œ

Week 32/52 - 2026 - fitness edition

A very normal week over here…

Evie keeping me on my toes, work & coffee, some good meals… and some nuggets, getting my workouts done and plenty of coffee because… mum life ā˜•ļø

Nothing fancy and never perfect šŸ˜… just doing what I can, when I can, and juggling everything week to week

Honestly, this is exactly why I don’t believe you need to have your whole life organised around fitness to make progress

Some weeks you get 3 workouts done and some weeks you get 1

Sometimes your meals are planned and sometimes you’re grabbing something quick because you forgot you bought them and they were going out of date šŸ˜‚

You don’t need to wait for life to calm down before you start looking after yourself. You just need an approach that can fit into the life you already havešŸ’œ

How was your week?šŸ‘‡

Week 31/52 - 2026 - fitness edition

Interviews, baking dessert tables, extra Pilates classes, training and new nails šŸ’…

Love using this time to teach extra classes, expand my learning and bake some treats for people 🧁

Maybe the consequence of not changing anything isn’t some dramatic ā€œbefore and afterā€

Maybe it’s simply that 6 months from now, you’re still feeling exactly the same…

Still putting yourself last.
Still saying ā€œI’ll start when things calm down.ā€
Still feeling frustrated that you can’t stay consistent.
Still waiting for the perfect time to prioritise yourself.

But here’s the thing…

Life probably isn’t going to suddenly become less busy

There will always be work.
The kids will always need you.
There will always be meals to make, washing to do and a million other plates to spin and a to do list to complete.

You don’t need to find more time

You need to stop trying to fit your health into a life that doesn’t have a load of spare time

You need a plan that fits the life you actually have šŸ’œ

Shorter workouts.
Simple nutrition.
Realistic goals.
Consistency over perfection.

Because 6 months from now, you could either be wishing you’d started…

or thanking yourself that you didšŸ’œ

If nothing changed over the next 6 months, would you be happy with where you are?

Week 30/52 - 2026 - fitness edition

Tattie growing, meal planning, bathroom flooding, unemployed and beautiful sunsets

Let’s never speak about this week again…. šŸ™ƒšŸ„²

Week 29/52 - 2026 - fitness edition

A chilled week post half marathon, discovering baked oats again, a date trip to Luke Combs, sunny runs and little shoppers

Only our third date since having Evie?! We need to fix that but she’s too cute to leave behind 🄹🤣

One set of dumbbells and 30 minutes? This one is for you šŸ’Ŗ

30 seconds work, 15 seconds rest, pyramid style

(Rows, rows + lunges, rows + lunges + circle raises, etc etc)

All 8 exercises up the pyramid and back down

Save this and let me know in the comments how you get on šŸ‘‡šŸ’œ

As a coach, I could give you a list of exercises, meal ideas and transformations

But honestly?

These are the things I wish every busy woman knew about fitness and followed

Because getting healthier isn’t about finding more time or more motivation

It’s about letting go of the pressure to be perfect

I know what it’s like to juggle a full-time job, motherhood and training. Some weeks go to plan, and some weeks go completely off the rails šŸ˜…

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is:

✨Progress comes from what you do consistently, not what you do perfectly✨

So if you’re feeling like you’re behind or you can never get started, this is your reminder that you’re probably doing better than you think

What point did you need to hear?šŸ’œ

Save this for the next time life gets busy and toughšŸ’œ
