Week 34/52 - 2026 - fitness edition
A very special week for our little family š„¹š
My little baby officially turned 2, and I honestly donāt know where those two years have gone!
There were lots of birthday celebrations, presents, family time, walks, adventures, trips to the highland wildlife park⦠and, of course, a little Starbucks stop because balance and pumpkin spicešāļø
This week has actually been a lovely reminder of why fitness matters so much to meš
Not because I need or want to spend hours in the gym. Not because I need to eat perfectly, but because I want to have the strength and energy to enjoy my life and see my baby grow up
I want to walk, explore, carry her when sheās tired, play with her and keep up with whatever adventure she decides weāre going on next š and trust me she is FAST when sheās running š
I want my fitness to fit around those moments, not take me away from them
This is exactly what I want for the women I work with tooš you can work towards losing weight, getting stronger and feeling better without putting your entire life on hold
Because the goal isnāt to have the āperfectā fitness routineā¦
Itās to build a healthy lifestyle that actually works alongside the life you already haveš
Now excuse me while I go and cry over the fact that I have a TWO year oldš„¹š
What was the highlight of your week?šš¼
27/08/2026
My little girl turned 2 this week šš„¹
And becoming a mum completely changed the way I look at fitness
Before having her, a lot of my motivation came from how I wanted to lookā¦
Now?
I want to be able to keep up with her
I want to run around the garden with her, get down on the floor and play, carry her when she wants picked up, go on adventures with her and have the energy to actually enjoy our days together š
I want to be strong enough for real life
And I want her to grow up seeing exercise as something positive and fun. Itās something we do because it makes us feel strong, capable and goodšŖ
Not something we have to do because weāve eaten too muchā¦
Thatās why fitness is so important to meš
Itās not about having the āperfectā body
Itās about making sure my body can keep up with the life I want to live and thatās exactly why I believe fitness for mums needs to look different šŖ
You donāt need to spend hours in the gym
You donāt need to follow a restrictive diet
You donāt need to put your family life on hold
You need something that helps you become stronger and healthier while still allowing you to be the best mum you canā¦
Because these little people donāt stay little foreverš„¹
And I want to be fit enough to enjoy every minute I can with mineš thatās my whyā¦

If youāve ever looked at someone elseās fitness routine and thoughtā¦
āHow am I supposed to fit THAT into my life?ā
I totally get it
When youāre working, looking after the kids, sorting childcare, making everyones meals, doing all the housework, and trying to remember what day it is š
the answer isnāt going to be āfind more timeā
And itās definitely not to start another plan that is made for people who donāt have a busy life
You donāt need hours in the gym
You donāt need to cut out all the foods you enjoy
You donāt need to exercise every single day
And you definitely donāt need to give up halfway through a week because you had one bad day
You need a plan that works when life is busy because your fitness shouldnāt have to compete with your family, your work or your social life
It should fit around them š
If youāre a busy working mum whoās fed up with starting again, this is for you
And if you want help figuring out how to make it work around your life, DM me āREADYā and letās chatš

Week 32/52 - 2026 - fitness edition
A very normal week over hereā¦
Evie keeping me on my toes, work & coffee, some good meals⦠and some nuggets, getting my workouts done and plenty of coffee because⦠mum life āļø
Nothing fancy and never perfect š
just doing what I can, when I can, and juggling everything week to week
Honestly, this is exactly why I donāt believe you need to have your whole life organised around fitness to make progress
Some weeks you get 3 workouts done and some weeks you get 1
Sometimes your meals are planned and sometimes youāre grabbing something quick because you forgot you bought them and they were going out of date š
You donāt need to wait for life to calm down before you start looking after yourself. You just need an approach that can fit into the life you already haveš
How was your week?š

Maybe the consequence of not changing anything isnāt some dramatic ābefore and afterā
Maybe itās simply that 6 months from now, youāre still feeling exactly the sameā¦
Still putting yourself last.
Still saying āIāll start when things calm down.ā
Still feeling frustrated that you canāt stay consistent.
Still waiting for the perfect time to prioritise yourself.
But hereās the thingā¦
Life probably isnāt going to suddenly become less busy
There will always be work.
The kids will always need you.
There will always be meals to make, washing to do and a million other plates to spin and a to do list to complete.
You donāt need to find more time
You need to stop trying to fit your health into a life that doesnāt have a load of spare time
You need a plan that fits the life you actually have š
Shorter workouts.
Simple nutrition.
Realistic goals.
Consistency over perfection.
Because 6 months from now, you could either be wishing youād startedā¦
or thanking yourself that you didš
If nothing changed over the next 6 months, would you be happy with where you are?

Tattie growing, meal planning, bathroom flooding, unemployed and beautiful sunsets
Letās never speak about this week againā¦. šš„²

Week 29/52 - 2026 - fitness edition
A chilled week post half marathon, discovering baked oats again, a date trip to Luke Combs, sunny runs and little shoppers
Only our third date since having Evie?! We need to fix that but sheās too cute to leave behind š„¹š¤£

As a coach, I could give you a list of exercises, meal ideas and transformations
But honestly?
These are the things I wish every busy woman knew about fitness and followed
Because getting healthier isnāt about finding more time or more motivation
Itās about letting go of the pressure to be perfect
I know what itās like to juggle a full-time job, motherhood and training. Some weeks go to plan, and some weeks go completely off the rails š
The biggest lesson Iāve learned is:
āØProgress comes from what you do consistently, not what you do perfectlyāØ
So if youāre feeling like youāre behind or you can never get started, this is your reminder that youāre probably doing better than you think
What point did you need to hear?š
Save this for the next time life gets busy and toughš
