It's time to get in shape for the new season ahead. Pre season training has started and is on tonight from 6:30 and again Thursday 6:30.

We are recruiting too so whether you are a seasoned pro or new to the game, you will be very welcome to join the lads and the coaching team will get you sorted.

All training at Centenary Park, Archers Gate. Come and get stuck in.

Amesbury Rugby Club’s Walking Rugby squad are back in action this weekend as they head to the prestigious Esher RFC Walking Rugby Festival.

Fresh from an impressive performance at Devizes, the squad will be looking to carry that momentum forward against strong opposition from across the region. With confidence high, the team is eager to build on recent successes and continue showcasing the skill, teamwork, and camaraderie that have become hallmarks of Amesbury Walking Rugby.

Mens XVs pre-seaon training kicks off tonight, 6:30. Tuesday and Thursday evenings ever week. All new players welcome.

A scorching day in Devizes saw eight Walking Rugby teams from across Dorset & Wiltshire come together for a fantastic festival celebrating everything that makes the game special.

Amesbury grew into the tournament with every game, showing improved ball management, better discipline and some excellent team rugby. Every player contributed, playing to their individual strengths as part of a real squad effort.

The day finished with Amesbury facing Trowbridge in the Fair Play Festival Final, where we came away with the win on the pitch, while Trowbridge deservedly collected the overall Fair Play Award. Congratulations to them.

A huge thank you to Devizes Rugby Club and Dorset & Wilts Rugby for organising another excellent event.

Touch is back on tomorrow evening. Bring plenty water and a sense of humour and you will have a fantastic time. Mixed ages, abilities and gender. All welcome. Its just for a good crack!

What a fantastic day at Amesbury RFC’s End of Season Awards BBQ.

From our u7 players through to our over 70's, the club came together to celebrate another brilliant year of rugby, friendship and community spirit. The day was packed with awards, games, inflatables, food, laughter and so many smiling faces across every section of the club.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise, set up, cater, run activities, clear away and support the event, and to everyone who came along and made the atmosphere so special. Special thanks to Hayley and Alan who pulled it all together for everyone.

What made the day truly special was seeing children, parents, players, volunteers and supporters all enjoying the day side by side.

It was a wonderful reminder that Amesbury RFC is about far more than rugby alone and highlighted just how far the club has come since being formed in 2017. From humble beginnings to a thriving community club spanning all ages, events like this feel like both a celebration of what has already been achieved and a launchpad for what the club can continue to become in the years ahead if the space can be found to expand our offering to the community.
