Jeannette has been a member for seven months and has achieved her dream goal of getting into size 10 clothes.
“Walking through the door for the first time was the hardest thing for me as I don’t do much on my own. The trainers are so welcoming and friendly that I immediately felt at ease. Being a member has also given me the motivation to eat a healthy diet and I think my results speak for themselves! Now I have to maintain and the trainers are there to help me do that.
My husband is also very proud of what I have achieved.”
Well done Jeannette. Keep up the good work.

Pam was thrilled with her Tanita results.
Great muscle mass and bone mass scores, a healthy body fat score, well hydrated and a metabolic age of 67! Not bad for someone in their 80s!
How has Pam achieved these great results?
In her words, one simple answer.
“I come to Bodyworks.”
On Saturday 4th of April we have a videographer coming to the club to help us to capture more market content. We are looking for 8-10 volunteers to help us out. This will involve being filmed while we train you and answering a few questions about your experiences at the club.
This will start from just after 12pm and will be about an hour overall. If you would like to be a part of this please either comment below or send us a message on Facebook. All volunteers will be given wine as a thank you!

The importance of being hydrated.
Our amazing Tanita scales are able to tell us how well our bodies are hydrated and whether we are in fact dehydrated. The recommended intake of fluids is 1.5 to 2 litres per day. Water is best as it doesn’t contain caffeine.
Tips for staying hydrated:
Drink regularly throughout the day.
Avoid sugary drinks and drink caffeine in moderation.
Drink extra fluids when sweating from physical activity or you are unwell.
Our bodies are 60% water.
The importance of keeping your body hydrated are as follows:
Helps maximise physical performance, energy levels and brain function.
Can avoid or help clear headaches.
Aids digestion and kidney function by transporting nutrients and removing waste.
Helps reduce the risk of UTIs and kidney stones.
Joint lubrication, skin health and weight management.
Water is present in lots of foods too, particularly fruit and veg, so it’s not always about having a water bottle by your side!
Enjoy staying hydrated and keep your body healthy by doing so!
