We’re getting ready for another fantastic day of fun, games and family-friendly activities — all while helping our Wombwell Town Juniors FC teams raise much-needed funds for the upcoming season! ⚽❤️

Wombwell Town JFC Girls section are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic U8 Manager to help launch our newest team.

The team will play in the U8 Development (5v5) age group of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Women & Girls league, this is where many girls will take their very first steps in football, making it a fantastic opportunity to have a lasting impact on their confidence, development and love of the game.

What an incredible weekend of football it has been!

A huge well done to every team that took part and congratulations to all of our winners. More importantly, thank you to every player for making the tournament such a fantastic celebration of girls’ football.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported the tournament throughout the weekend – our referees, volunteers, parents, coaches and supporters. Your time, effort and encouragement helped make the event such a success.

We’d also like to thank all the clubs who travelled to be with us. We hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.

We’ll be back again next year on 3rd & 4th July 2027, so keep an eye out for our tournament adverts early in the New Year to secure your place.

What a fantastic day it has been so far as we’ve welcomed the U14, U15 and U16 girls for another exciting day of action.

The atmosphere has been amazing, with plenty of smiles, great teamwork and fantastic football on display.

A huge thank you to all the teams who have entered and travelled to be with us, as well as the parents, coaches and referees for your continued support.

Finally, a massive thank you to all of our volunteers. Without your hard work and dedication, events like this simply wouldn’t be possible.
