Barnsley Town FC

With pre-season training set to begin next week, we're pleased to announce our current schedule of friendly fixtures as we prepare for the 2026/27 season.

Our preparations will see us face fellow County Senior League opposition throughout the summer, starting with a home fixture against Rotherham Town FC before travelling to North Gawber Colliery Football Club for a Friday evening encounter.

The remainder of our pre-season programme will be played at home, with Sheffield City FC 1st Team, Swinton Athletic FC and Silkstone United F.C all set to visit.

We currently have availability for additional friendly fixtures on Tuesday 21st July and Wednesday 5th August. If your club is looking for opposition on either date, please send us a message. Fixtures would need to be played away.

Our pre-season preparations get underway next week, and we're inviting any new players interested in joining the club to come along to our open training session.

Whether you're looking for a new challenge or want to be part of an ambitious team, this is a great opportunity to meet the lads and get involved.

A win for Barnsley Town FC will move us into second in the league but relying on teams around us to drop points to remain in the top 3 come end of the season

After back to back wins with a 5-1 victory over Wombwell Town Reserves last night, goals from

Having played more games than teams around us we do sit second in the league , we will be looking to keep the pressure on teams pushing for promotion with another 3pts
