Great win for Darton U13 Roes away at Worsbrough Bridge CC.

A really strong batting performance from the team gave us a solid platform, which was then backed up by fantastic all-round bowling and fielding from every player.

The backing up, teamwork, and team spirit were brilliant to see throughout the game.

A massive shout-out to the lads who stepped in to help out tonight, you were absolutely amazing! 👏🏻👏🏻🏏

Darton Cricket Club would like to dedicate the Darton U11 Sikas, league win to Paul Crossley, a local farmer and grandad to Darton junior Reggie, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away on 5th June 2026.
We are sure that Paul would have been so proud of Reggie tonight, taking 2 wickets.
We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Paul’s family and friends at this difficult time. 🤍🕊️

This evening our U11 Sikas hosted Scholes & Harley Cricket Club U11 at Darton Cricket Club.
The Sikas won the toss and elected to bowl dominating from the start and staying in control to take the win and crown them as league winners 🏆 👏🏼
Many thanks to Pete and Ant for their continued support this season, to the parents and supporters for getting the kids there every week but most of all to the kids themselves who have put in the hard work, pulled together and been a great team to watch this season.

This evening our U11 Bucks travelled to nearby Higham Cricket CLub for their penultimate league game. A great game with some pretty awesome shots from both sides.
Darton won the match by 96 runs.

Yesterday our U13 Fallows welcomed Kexborough CricketClub to Darton HQ.
Shot of the match went to Robert who hit it straight into the score box before finishing his batting on a total of 40.
