Hello community!
A quick heads-up. Playtomic are bringing their player booking fees into line across everything you book through the app. You already pay a small booking fee on Open Matches, Academy sessions and Tournaments. From 19 October the same fee will apply to regular / private court bookings also.
The fee is 3% of what you pay, with a minimum of 35p and a maximum of 99p per person. On a typical £24 court that is 72p if one person pays for the whole booking, or 35p each if four of you split it in the app.
It applies to bookings made from 19 October onwards, so anything already booked before then is unaffected.
NOTE - You can Top Up your Club Wallet to AVOID the fees. Wallet Payments are not charged any Playtomic Fees, so you can top up your Wallet in the Barnsley Padel Club Home Page.
To top-up Barnsley Padel Club's Wallet:
Open the club's profile
Go to the Home tab and scroll to Offers
Pick the wallet offer and complete the payment.
The balance then shows up as a payment method.
The Wallet Offers Appear like below:
Top-up A = £5
Top-up B = £10
Top-up C = £20
Top-up D = £50
You can check your Wallet Balance in your Profile, by heading to your page, selecting the 3 horizontal lines in the top corner, and then selecting Your Payments, Club Wallets.
Nothing changes at our end. The fee goes to Playtomic rather than to us, and our court prices have not moved 👍
