🏏 Bathford CC Results 🏏

Sunday saw the Bathford Exiles take the only victory from the weekend as they edged out Midsomer Norton to move to second in the NSCL table after Krishna Yarraboina took a superb 4fer to take us over the line. Saturday saw Goatacre get the better of our 1s and 2s despite some excellent individual performances, with the 1s seeing Alistair Duffield score 52 and take 3 wickets and BKW score 69 runs in the hopes of a huge chase.

Results from this weekend’s cricket see the 1s pull off a strong comeback with an exceptional bowling performance to get past Blunsdon. Dan Noad’s 4 and the in-form Matt Watt’s 3 wickets led the lineup with class. The 2s were unfortunate against Avebury but still had some pickings to take as Gus Pickford picked up a tidy 2 wicket haul.

🏏 Bathford CC Teams 23rd May 🏏

Here we go for another week of WCCL action where the 1s host Blunsdon and the 2s make the trek to Avebury where they’ll be hoping for a rock solid performance. If you can get down to the club to show your support we’d love to see you in what promises to be a scorcher of a weekend.

Results from last weekend, with the Exiles being the only team coming out on top in a weather affected weekend. AB’s 77 for the 1s and Gabriel Faragher’s incredible 5fer for the 2s were the clear standout performances. We go again this weekend chasing more points and more of the same individual brilliance.

🏏 Bathford CC Results 9th/10th May 🏏

Safe to say not a great weekend for the Ford, coming away with 3 hard fought losses despite some strong individual performances. James Leeming led the way with his exceptional 51 runs with the bat for the 2s away at Swindon Titans. We go again next week in the search for points and a great weekend’s cricket.

🏏 Teams for 2nd May 🏏

It’s the start of the 1s’ season as they travel to Spye Park for the first time since 2022, and will be hoping for the same outcome. The 2s will be aiming to go back to back in the first two weeks at home to Swindon Thalavians.

We would also like to thank Ollie Clark for being this week’s match ball sponsor for the 2s at home.

🏏 2s Win vs Shrivenham🏏

Starting the season in style, the Ford 2s take all the points away at Shrivenham, with 3 wickets apiece for Barnsy and North and early runs for Mark Toolry and James Leeming. An exceptional all round performance they’ll be hoping to replicate throughout the season
