A massive well done to Ravenhill YM Pool team who this year competed in the East Belfast Health & Wellbeing Men’s Pool League. Firstly a huge thankyou to Thomas for the invite and to everyone else involved in running such a great initiative with an amazing message behind it. Bringing men together in a safe yet competitive environment. Making friends, breaking barriers and above all else sending a message through multiple groups behind 1 competition to abolish the stigma and improve mens mental health and wellbeing. 🫡
Not only did our lads involved have a great time but we managed to pick up a few trophies along the way. 🙌🙌

At Ravenhill Young Men, we know football is more than just a game. It’s about commitment, setbacks, perseverance and going again.

Life can feel the same. There are highs and lows, victories and disappointments, and moments where we wish we could start over.

Easter invites us to pause and think about that.
It reminds us that through Jesus, there is real hope, hope that speaks into our past, our present, and our future. A hope that offers forgiveness, purpose, and a fresh start.

In football, you move on to the next game but in life, some things can weigh heavier. Easter points to a way of truly being made new.
