At least, that's what our CEO Liam McStravick convinced his son from a very early age. However, it was all about the bacon and egg McMuffin and the hot cup of coffee for Liam 😉☕

Liam grew up in inner-city North Belfast, where Saturday mornings meant heading to the playing fields - coaches showing up, communities coming together, kids from across the city meeting people they'd never have crossed paths with otherwise.

And then he became that coach himself. And five of the young players he coached from the age of seven or eight - Jackson Reid, Jayden Withers, Jack Kerr, Carter Cowen and his own son Liam Og — now all work at TeamFeePay. What a full circle moment 💙

We went out and asked our clubs and CFA partners exactly that - and the answers gave us goosebumps.

From the people who set up the pitches early on Saturday mornings, to the ones running the line in the pouring rain, volunteers are the heartbeat of the game. They don't do it for the glory. They do it for the love of football and the communities it builds.
