Day 2 - Morning Session

A brilliant start to Day 2 at the Ulster Long Course Championships.

We kicked off the morning with a 1, 2, 3 in the Girls 800m Freestyle, with Iona finishing a very close 5th.

A special mention also to Annie, who swam a strong PB to finish as the 2nd fastest 13-year-old in the event.

Day 1 saw 23 Swim Belfast swimmers in action, with some excellent racing, strong personal performances and a great start to the weekend.

Academy 1 & 2 at the Enniskillen Lakelanders Spring Gala this weekend 🏊‍♀️🏆
Some amazing swims, exciting gala debuts from our Academy 1 swimmers, and all topped off with some impressive mini golf skills afterwards!

March Swimmer of the Month 🏆

Academy 1 - These swimmers achieved excellent attendance and improved technique

Academy 2 - Chloe had great attendance and 100% effort at all sessions

Development - Kristen has shown incredible dedication this month, being the first person in the pool and has gave 100% effort at every session

Junior Nat - Annie has been named Junior National Squad Swimmer of the Month for March, following her outstanding performance in the 1500m Freestyle at the Aspiring Champions meet. In her first attempt at the event, Annie clocked an impressive 20:02 an incredible 1 minute and 4 seconds under the qualification time for the Irish Summer Nationals. The 1500m Freestyle is widely regarded as one of the most demanding events in swimming, making this achievement all the more remarkable.

Our fundraising speed quiz is being held this Friday 16th Jan!!
Entry is £10, which is payable on the night
This is just for adults and will be a brilliant night, so hopefully we will see lots of you there!!
