Looking back on what was a fantastic day last Wednesday for our first Junior Open.

The best Gross Prize was claimed by Sam Wilson of Beverley GC & Cottingham Parks with a fantastic 76.

Will Bentley of Beverley GC claimed the Divison 1 best nett with a gross 76 Nett 68 (losing out on the gross prize on countback)

Ella Pawson of Hessle Golf Club won Division 2 and also the girls best gross prize.

Well done to all who participated and our winners.

Many congratulations to Nick Jones who won today’s Scratch Cup with a score or 72 this morning and a 69 this afternoon for a total of 141.

Great turn out with 39 juniors heading out onto the course today hoping to claim the Junior Open Presidents Trophy kindly donated by our club president Derek Baugh.

Massive congratulations to our Junior Captain William Bentley who got his first call up to represent the East Riding Under 18s for today’s match at Bridlington Golf Club against Bradford Union.

Fantastic achievement to make his debut but even better to come out with a Half in his Foursomes match then an impressive 4&3 victory in his singles match.
