Move Together - Family SEND Sessions

Thanks to some amazing local businesses that have agreed to sponsor this project, we have been able to expand our provision at the Academy and offer additional places on this free to access initiative.

While most of our classes are suitable for most SEN children, this is specifically for those who tend to struggle more in busy or loud environments and might find it difficult to regulate in our Little Ninja groups.

We are working through a waiting list for these funded places, but if this is suitable for your family or a family you know, please share this post and send any enquiries via dm or through our website.

An hour is such a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things. But in every single kids class at Behind Bars, in that hour there are so many little wins, so many priceless moments. The first time someone hangs from a bar unassisted, gets up the warped wall, gets one extra pull up or climbs one extra hand higher up the rope. Pushes that slightly heavier sled that little bit further. All moments that develop confidence in young people, and give them reasons to celebrate and enjoy movement. Not to mention all the little friendships that develop each and every week.

The classes can be demanding and chaotic, but we wouldn't change them for the world.

Well done to everyone at class tonight - you're all unbelievable 🥷💙
